To tame one first you needt to trap hi then place metal dinasour door for protection and then knock hom and give soothing balms and narcotic

You probably tamed your rex without a trap, I know I did! Well, kiss that goodbye, because these guys won’t stand still long enough for that… and they’re fast and very powerful! Rexes are slow and dumb so they’ll sit they’re letting you shoot them from atop a cliff, Gigas won’t have any of that bs, so you need to trap them!

Getting Prepared making Quetzal kibble making loads of Tranq darts running to Drops for Free amber(ark mobile) saving up to get the 15x smoothing balm then wasting 120 tranq darts to bring this down SOLO just to forget narcotics/bio toxin and having the gigs wake up😐 I was getting to over prepared that I forgot them and I was so pissed but the Giga is currently stuck so wish me luck

You can just use three gateways and 1 large bear trap and make sure the gates are in a right position

You need to tame giga 4 metal gates,1or2 large bear traps longneck rifle better to not use primitive use ramshackle to ascendant longneck use tranq darts better use shocking tranq darts bring 400 to1000 bio toxin depending on your decision use more bio toxin if higher level use for mobile players quetzal kibble with x15 balm the fastest or x10 balm for normal taming boost or minor soothing balm for small boost for pc players use extraordinary kibble or mutton or prime meat wait and keep an eye on unconsciousness bar and here you go you tamed your own giga

One suggestion if you do the bed trick BEFORE it’s knocked out it’s gonna cause huge food loss. Much more than starve or even doing the bed trick after knocking it out.

Tip don’t make a base near the large mountains I had to lead this away from my base while I’m breeding rexes my argy almost died bc of the giga it’s a good lvl I might tame it

When u tame one it has 17 thousand health and attack is 18 percent so has that happen to you and it's a level 63!?

I was just looking for metal then a giga just came up behind me and one shot me and my royal griffin so I thought it was a good idea to take all my Dino’s to go kill the giga and let’s just say that I don’t have any Dino’s anymore😭(rip Dino’s I’m sorry for taking you guys to a giga so he could one shot you)

The way I tamed my one is get on a high place and get another friend to distract on other side of mountain while your mountain one mountain shooting at it and make sure it’s agro on your friend so some one can shoot from behind.

So easy to tame if you do it right you just simply trap it in using metal gates and bring about 200 tranqs with you just to be safe and tranq it out.

On the island in the snow biome sometimes wild gigas can get stuck on the small icebergs littered across the river that creates the border between the snow and jungle biomes and the water is shallow enough for them to not drown so you might not even need to build a taming pen.

My tribe easily got a max by trapping it with metal dinogates and lighting it up w/tranqs on top of a quetz and at a safe distance. Starve taming soon followed. Not too tough with flyers, just stay safe and keep your distance

How can you even tame that i got onto a mountain and used 80 tranq darts and that wasn t enough and it had 80k hp

Why are the tranq amounts so broken for the giga it’s telling me it’s going to take 1,300 something shocking tranqs to take down a lvl 7 which is just not true

So I killed a giga. How? First I lead it into the water. Next, I grabbed my tusto and drowned it. Really helps 👍

Ok so, since they only deal damage up to stone, you should grab metal gateways and a few bear LARGE bear traps. You want to use it like a bird trap: set the gateway in a row and BRING 2 METAL gate doors. Put a bear trap in the middle and open both doors at both ends lure the giga in the trap, you might want to put some points in speed and lure it in the trap. Wait till it’s in the bear trap then close both doors. Pelt it with tranq ammo and then feed it highest level of kibble or raw prime meat. Maintain it torpor with narcotics or bio toxin so it doesn’t wake up until it is tamed. Hoped this was helpful.
