Encountering Tips
How do I kill a giganotosaurus? giganotosaurus battling strategies in ARK: Survival Evolved.
If it is the Giga you want to flee,
It is harder on land you will see,
Get on a bird and get to the sky,
So you survive and don't die,
Get out of there and let it be.
I tamed max Rex: this huge carnivore will destroy everything.

Hey! I know it says the Giganotosaurus is not in Fjordur, however i’ve encountered a few in their R forms
He'll be comin down the mountain when he comes, he'll be comin for you, better grab a gun, you can't run, you can't hide, might as well stand in fight, but you'll probably end up in his tum.
You don’t have to outrun the giga, just your friends.
On mobile they won’t aggro onto you if you are riding a mount. However, if you dismount at any point anywhere near the giga or attack it in any way, it will attack immediately. Up so more people know
While my brother and I are trying to tame a giga, a purlovia jumped me and my pt named TOOTHLESS, I was surrounded by dire wolves at the time and the giga was next to me. I got killed by a wolf and my brother got on my pt to save it but both toothless and my brother got killed by the giga.
Pray to the ark gods that there is a Titanosaurus nearby, and if one is so lucky? Run between its legs and get as far away from the looming armageddon that is titan v giga!
On Valguero, I've confirmed three spawn locations.
14.2 67.5
13.2 60.6
38.3 67.4
Tamed and killed multiple at these co ords, there should still be another spawn or two on the map
I once saw a giga ... im typing this from his stomach
If one is encountered near water, you can simply lure it out to sea with a flyer and it will swiftly drown. Given the water is deep enough. If encountered inland not near water. Pray to the overseers you have something fast enough to out run it. Then promptly die because they're as fast as a mad Hispanic mother with a shoe. Not as deadly as one though.
You don't have to outrun the Gig, just your friends! XD
Run... just run for your life, and hope it doesn't go into RAGE MODE and doesn't murder u
Just brought down a lvl 150 I’m sweating so hard I need a sweat rag for my sweat rag😂😂
I seriously want to know who and why would anyone hit this 10067 times with a pachy lol
The giga's vision is based on movement, so if you see one don't move and it won't see you.
Oh so you want to kill it. It’s one of the most powerful wild creatures in ark. It has tons of health, hits like a MONSTER TRUCK, and easily murders everything. Oh how do you kill it then? Easy. Just lead it into water. Gigas can’t swim so it’ll just drown
Never fight a wild giga with a tamed giga, a wild giga has 80,000 health and your tamed will usually be around 25,000 health. Also the wild giga will do more damage a bite and also has a health drain effect.
I was playing on a nice multiplayer survee with nice people, I got a bronto, mutated blue wolf, eerie tapejara, and an argie. I join a tribe with someone and we go to his base (on the back of fars peak and right across from carnivore island) and one day I spawn in, and see one of my arges died, I'm like oh. It must have starved. That's sad. Then I look at the logs and see "your dodo has been killed by a giganotosaurus!" I instantly start panicking and I type in the chat about it. Everyone is curious. Low and behold I see a giant giga tail right next to my flimsy base with spike walls. It agros on me, and I start RUNNING. My bronto attacks it and the behemoths fight. My bronto's death was not in vein though. I had enough time to save 5 out of 17 dinos. I'd say that's pretty good compared to nothing. I still have their graves to this day.
