On the island in the snow biome sometimes wild gigas can get stuck on the small icebergs littered across the river that creates the border between the snow and jungle biomes and the water is shallow enough for them to not drown so you might not even need to build a taming pen.

If your on a fiber/boosted server, just build a 2x2 metal behemoth gate filled with large bear traps. Then build a tower outside to shoot it with tranqs. Lead it in, it'll get stuck in the traps. After that, close the doors and go up your tower and tranqs it. They can't break metal so it's gonna be stuck.

Whilst giga is chasing you in to tge trap i always get a 1minute tamed dilo on turret mode abd long range and agressive to splat the giga and slow him down. Mean while i run behind and add 4th gate. Light up tranqs then add narcs and mutton. Boom. Solo tame

A effective way to knock out a giga is to have a tribe mate fly a quetz and let you grapple on to its chest that way you can tranq it from above and when it starts running you'll have a way to keep up with it and continue to tranq it.

Why are the tranq amounts so broken for the giga it’s telling me it’s going to take 1,300 something shocking tranqs to take down a lvl 7 which is just not true

So I killed a giga. How? First I lead it into the water. Next, I grabbed my tusto and drowned it. Really helps 👍

Ok so, since they only deal damage up to stone, you should grab metal gateways and a few bear LARGE bear traps. You want to use it like a bird trap: set the gateway in a row and BRING 2 METAL gate doors. Put a bear trap in the middle and open both doors at both ends lure the giga in the trap, you might want to put some points in speed and lure it in the trap. Wait till it’s in the bear trap then close both doors. Pelt it with tranq ammo and then feed it highest level of kibble or raw prime meat. Maintain it torpor with narcotics or bio toxin so it doesn’t wake up until it is tamed. Hoped this was helpful.

If you are looking to tame a giga always look for the highest lvl to tame. As long as you know how to trap it then you can tame it, just make sure to have the reasources.

Just climb on an edge and shoot it! Follow it with something that can fly and continue..

If you play with a tribe mate you can get your tribe mate to pick you up on a flyer like a argent or quetzal and knock it out While you in the air.

I got my stuff and 9000 tranqs and I wasted almost all of the them and I checked him and he. Was at 0 still.....

Put over 500 tranqs into a 150 and still didn't go down be prepared to waste alot of time

Can be knocked out by melee. Just knocked one out that was trapped in ice with a regular 100% club. Two of us.

Use ascendant tranq longneck rifles with shocking tranq darts and use ascendant tek armour bring at least 200 shocking tranq darts not arrows

Get a high lvl Griffin and get metal get a crossbow and toxin arrows (rip fazar cause of death:two buffed allosaurus’s)also abbess didn’t die when I was finding her a mate this male giga appeared and I don’t have a giga so please name my giga-keekiee

You need to tame giga 4 metal gates,1or2 large bear traps longneck rifle better to not use primitive use ramshackle to ascendant longneck use tranq darts better use shocking tranq darts bring 400 to1000 bio toxin depending on your decision use more bio toxin if higher level use for mobile players quetzal kibble with x15 balm the fastest or x10 balm for normal taming boost or minor soothing balm for small boost for pc players use extraordinary kibble or mutton or prime meat wait and keep an eye on unconsciousness bar and here you go you tamed your own giga

One suggestion if you do the bed trick BEFORE it’s knocked out it’s gonna cause huge food loss. Much more than starve or even doing the bed trick after knocking it out.

Found a 420 giga on mobile, the problem is taming it since it has 216000 torpor
