For taming, you can use 4 metal dino gateframes and 2 large metal bear traps. Bring 500 narcotics and make sure you have spikes to stop any accidents. Ragnarok is best for finding high level gigas and there are 3 spawns, The Highlands, The Deathsands and by green obelisk. Happy hunting.

What to do

1 Find your giga on rhynio

2 Piss it off with tranq arrows

3 when it torpor runs activate resin armor

4 follow on foot

5 repeat step 2

6 feed kibble or meat

SAFEST way to tame in Mobile:

1. Get a tame from a cave, scorpion/araneo etc. It'll have stealth, you can safely walk along a wild Giga.

2. Get what you need to make your trap. You may place around the Giga, do as you wish, just NOT dismount if Giga isn't trapped!!

Warning: do NOT shoot if Giga isn't trapped, it'll undo stealth and when stealth is undone.......

Three ways of how to tame it based on risk:

1. Get a grappling hook, an argy that is a good 3k and lots of stam aswell as darts/arrows

Instructions

Grapple onto the argy after you are into a place where the giga cannot bite you and start shooting. When it starts to run, whistle your argy to follow it and keep shooting. Very risky because if the giga turn around, your probably dead so keep shooting.

Method 2: Get a bear trap, a high place and tranquilizers aswell as a gate, get a argy too.

Instructions

Put the bear trap down of where the giga will go, when the Giga chases you and gets stuck, put a gate behind it because the high place can vary from a big hill to a mountain. Once it’s in the trap, put the gate behind it and start tranq, the trap should be put near either a structure or something the giga cannot climb.

Method 3: Get 4 gates, 1 - 3 bear traps (large) and tranqd

Put the gates in a shape near a square then put all the bear traps in, when the toga chases you, run past the bear traps and out one of the metal gates, the giga will get stuck and put the last gate behind it.

Tranquilize.

I have a 100% imprinted Giga, 4 hours wasted or put to good use…

But anyway, imprinted Giga are awesome, each imprint gives your Giga ( or at least mine ) About 1000 health each time you imprint it as well as plus 1% melee dmg.

One fully imprinted I’m walking around with about 33,645 or so thin like that, and also leveled up it’s melee dmg giving it 230%!

Imprinted Giga are op. ( I find my Rex’s to be better tho )

How to tame an oversized Rex:

1-Tame a Raptor and mount it

2-Get a large amount of narcotics/bio toxins

3-Find a Giga (mostly found in mountains)

3-Sneak around its legs and put metal gateways, you can also put a large trap for it not to easily escape

4-Knock out by using 60-70 toxicant arrows with compound/crossbow or 50-60 tranq darts with longneck

5-Put all the narcotics/bio toxins you have and give it prime meat or kibble

6-If your on mobile give 3x,10x or 15x soothing balm (best option)

7-Feed it the narcotics/bio toxins if its torpor is decreasing

8-You have yourself a monster than can one shot a low level bronto!

to tame these, use three metal dino gates in a \_/ formation

put 1 or 2 large bear traps inside of the gates, and lure the giga into the trap. once it’s inside of the trap, put 1 or 2 gates on the other side. personally, i do 2 because its safer. after that, it’s trapped, and you can waste 500k narcotics for a level 20 giga

1. Grab platform quetzals

2. Grab entire tribe

3. Bring ascendant longneck rifle

4. Bring gallimimus with 150% speed for bait

5. Make giga follow gallimimus while tribe darts on quetzal

6. Once KO put kibble or raw prime meat (or mutton)

7. Make saddle

8. Level up to 140+

9. Tame another to breed

10. Level up mate to 140+

11. Breed

12. Imprint 100%

13. Level up offspring to 350

14. Brag about your giga

15. DESTROY YOUR ENEMIES!!! >:D

If you find a giga near your base do the following steps:

Step 1:make a gun

Step 2:shoot yourself in the head

Step 3:start a new life

Step 4:make a grave for any dino you ever known at your new house

I had 11 giga with many fully imprinted.2 are lvl 130+ and the rest are all 70+ in lvl.The parent had 17k health while their babies which I fully imprinted has 33k health.All of their melee is around 130 percent.11 of them vs a lvl 25 wild giga and all 11 giga suffered 10k loss in health so don't even try to fight a wild one with a tamed one even if it's fully imprinted.

To tame yes on mobile you will have to know that it will not a aggro on you unless you’re off your mount . So u can make a trap with 4 METAL Dino gates and put them as a box |___|like this and u have to pick up prey with ur argy and it will Agro on the prey and then u can lead it into the trap

And to knock it out u a cross bow bc it is faster and easier to make and put bio toxin in and then use balm for 10x taiming boust and feed it kibble

So I don't know if this works on PS4 or PC because I'm a mobile gamer in ark, but if you make the giga trap with three metal gates around a big trap and you lure it, it will get trapped and then you will just need to place the fourth metal gates on the back of the giga, also when setting up the trap DO NOT MAKE IT COMPLETE if you use the snapping points the giga will not fit. Ones you trap the giga you need to clear all danger around so it doesn't eat anything, then place a bed and sleep, or you can go back to base to get your supplies, i would recommend some good like ascendant crossbow or ascendant longneck rifle, but you can also use ascendant compound bow. Also take your time, mean while the giga is there you can go grind the materials to get the giga. When you're finished go sleep close to the giga and when you wake make sure there was nothing around the giga or else you would need to sleep again, ones you wake up, you start firing tranqs, take alot for emergency, ones it's down, put meat in it, the food should me very low meaning that it's hungry basically meaning it should practically insta tame. Also in mobile if you go close to a giga with a creature it will not attack you meaning you can just put the metal gates around it, but remember that's only on mobile. Once you tamed it you've got yourself a tamed giga, please up it took me quite a while to write this.

You can tame these with eqqus if you pump mellow into them I just did it.

Reply to the person that said they needed 13 darts with their master craft rifle: Don’t trust Dododex. Bring at least 200 darts for a level 30. Took 90 darts for a level 18.

I behemoth traps to tame th animal

On Ragnarok map in the Highlands by the Red Obelisk there is a river flowing down from the volcano area to the ocean. Just before it gets to the ocean there is an old stone bridge that is part of the map and cannot be destroyed. It is the perfect dimensions to place a metal behemoth gate flush inside it. Go far enough upriver for the Giga to move around a bit and place metal pillars across the river. Everyone in our alliance uses this gate trap to capture and kill or tame Gigas. You just land upriver, walk to within 20ish yds of the pillars, and fire away until the Giga is unconscious

If you are trying to tame this solo, it's best to lure one to a natural rock formation and near a cliff so if it tries to run it won't be able to run up the cliff and if you want to block it even more you can put some Dino gates down and knock it out but be careful because it has a big bite rage
