In mobile, sleep next to it while it’s awake. Then knock it out. Tamed one with few narcs and no soothing balm. DOESN’T WORK ON PC!!!

RHYNIO TAME STRAT

You will need

1 rhynio

A crap ton of ko arrows or darts

Preferably some resin

A good crossbow or longneck

What to do

1 Find your giga on rhynio

2 Piss it off with tranq arrows

3 when it torpor runs activate resin armor

4 follow on foot

5 repeat step 2

6 feed kibble or meat

So I don't know if this works on PS4 or PC because I'm a mobile gamer in ark, but if you make the giga trap with three metal gates around a big trap and you lure it, it will get trapped and then you will just need to place the fourth metal gates on the back of the giga, also when setting up the trap DO NOT MAKE IT COMPLETE if you use the snapping points the giga will not fit. Ones you trap the giga you need to clear all danger around so it doesn't eat anything, then place a bed and sleep, or you can go back to base to get your supplies, i would recommend some good like ascendant crossbow or ascendant longneck rifle, but you can also use ascendant compound bow. Also take your time, mean while the giga is there you can go grind the materials to get the giga. When you're finished go sleep close to the giga and when you wake make sure there was nothing around the giga or else you would need to sleep again, ones you wake up, you start firing tranqs, take alot for emergency, ones it's down, put meat in it, the food should me very low meaning that it's hungry basically meaning it should practically insta tame. Also in mobile if you go close to a giga with a creature it will not attack you meaning you can just put the metal gates around it, but remember that's only on mobile. Once you tamed it you've got yourself a tamed giga, please up it took me quite a while to write this.

They spawn mostly on top of mountain so it’s looking for one fly around on a Argentinians and look on all the melons

How to tame on mobile:

You need: 1 Stone Behemoth Gate set, Ascendant Rifle or Crossbow, some tranq ammo, Soothing balm, 50 Bio Toxin, Quetzal Kibble (2 just in case)

1. Go on your argy and find a Giga near the BLUE Obelisk.

2. Lure it to one of the big rocks in the Obelisk. (This will act as the other Behemoth Gateway.)

3. DO NOT UNMOUNT!!! Once the Giga is in the rock, place the Behemoth Gateway and Gate.

4. Sleep. (Optional)

5. Shoot it with your tranq ammo. (Shoot every 3-5 seconds!)

6. Apply Soothing Balm.

7. Feed Bio Toxin and Kibble.

8. Congrats! You tamed a Giga!

If your not using trap stand on a quetzal and shoot off of it while in the air. And bring at least 1000 darts or arrows cause the b***s gonna run around like a rabid mutt""

I had 11 giga with many fully imprinted.2 are lvl 130+ and the rest are all 70+ in lvl.The parent had 17k health while their babies which I fully imprinted has 33k health.All of their melee is around 130 percent.11 of them vs a lvl 25 wild giga and all 11 giga suffered 10k loss in health so don't even try to fight a wild one with a tamed one even if it's fully imprinted.

You tame it by running into its mouth with a tranq darts 0 out of 10 would not recommend

Look at what you need to tame it at level 9999. Also, look how long it takes.

How to trap a giga first craft 4 meter/tek gateways second craft 1 large bear traps third find a giga a high lvl one to get yourself a killing michine fourth place down the gateways this way |_| fifth place the bear trap in the middle sixth lure the giga into the bear trap seventh place the last gateway behind him/her to trap it eighth get him/her to sleep by shooting it with tranq arrows/tranq darts and put some prime in its inventory and BOOoOOoOM u got your own killing Michener pls up this guys it took so long to make this eyeman- (:

The best way to KO one of these is by playing three metal gates and a large bear trap in the middle then lead the giga in the middle then place another metal gate behind it then use a long neck and shoot it out

Admin on a server gave me a giga egg for finding a titan. Someone else helped me find it and they got an egg too. The admin is nice as heck lol.

So here’s what I did it’s kind of expensive

So make the metal behemoth gates then make the fences tame a couple of dodos throw them in the metal trap place three bear traps in the trap. Leave the front door open. Lead the giga next to the trap and it will attack the dodos then close the door

If you want a giga on vaulgaro trade one for a unicorn, or tame 1 male and 1 female to breed. It gonna be hard. What you need to do is get about 200 narcotics, feed him 50, get 2-6 raw prime meat.(and some backup raw meat. Never leave gigas side always be on high alert. Never hit the giga. Also dont put any cute tame near it or on you when its conscious

On singleplayer, you can easily tame a giga with cooked fish meat by:

1. Making sure your giga is knocked out

2. Wait until its torpor is low but not on the cusp of the giga waking up

3. Spam all required narcotics to make its torpor high again (or every one if the amount of required narcotics equates to not even all of its torpor)

4. Place down a bunk bed, sleep, die after you wake up, respawn fast enough to get back your bunk bed

5. Repeat step 4 until your giga is tamed or step 3 if you need to use more of your narcs

6. Enjoy +16 levels if you did it with a lvl 150 giga

If you are on mobile ane playing Easy difficulty... Just waste time on him its not worth it... Wild Giga can one bite and kill your dino but once you tame him (which is way difficult because of his fastest torpor drain) he even fail to kill a Patchy or Dodo in one bite 😭 I am on lvl 75 and made saddle using expensive resources... This dino is sh!t once tamed ❌

I recommend building a tower near your trap, for context a Rex came and I ran but forgot about the giga and let’s just say that giga go a little snack

Easiest way to tame is probably to take an Argie, a grappling hook, a longneck, and a LOT of tranq/shocking darts. One person flies the argie above the gigs, the other person hangs below and shoots. If you have enough people you can have multiple chasing it from the sky and shooting, making the whole process go faster. Then, just guard it’s fine give it narcs and wait, and your tribe now has a giga
