I’m the guy who tamed the crimson and cyan 135 r giga! Today me and my best friend hopped on ark and prepared to tame a mate giga, we crafted all the tranqs and the trap and everything we needed and brought my Rex along as well in a cryopod, then started to search for a high level female. We found the old male level 55, then found a female 55 in Rockwell’s gardens but decided that it just wasn’t a high enough level. We had been searching for what felt like hours and was losing hope until I spotted a beautiful blood red giga with orange/beige spots along its back. I got excited and checked the level and it was a 130 FEMALE!! We were so lucky. I immediately built the trap and my friend got it in the trap, and so began tranqing the bloody thing for 30 minutes xD this was probably one of the most if not the most stressful tames I’ve ever done on ark because unlike the 135 male there was a LOT of danger around and it was so stressful to tame up but my friend helped by getting prime while I kept it down with narcotics, eventually it tamed and I immediately cryod it and we flew back to base as soon as possible. When I got back to base I made her a saddle and called her bloodlust and then levelled her a bit. I have bred them and am currently hatching an egg! Gonna try breed until I get all the best stats and the colours I want and then plus the imprint it’s gonna be an absolute beast!

I tamed a 135 r giga today! Decided I wanted to tame a giga and started looking for some, I found a level 55 r giga but decided to keep on looking and the second one I found was the 135, it’s a really nice crimson colour with cyan spots along its back. So I immediately went back to my base and prepared, got 500 narcotic and nearly 400 tranqs (I had a load of good crossbows) and 14 metal pillars (captain fat dog trap). It took a couple of try’s but eventually I got it in the trap and started tranqing it. After over a full game day of shooting it, it finally went down. I pumped it with 200 narcotics immediately and went out for some prime. I easily killed a therizino and a spino with my level 270 Rex I bred prior and put the prime in the giga. It took quite a while to tame so I chilled on a phone call with my best friend while it tamed. I had to feed it some more narcotic but eventually it tamed and I named it doomsday, then cryod it, zoomed back to base in my tek suit, and crafted him a saddle. After a lot of killing things and levelling it now does over 1.5k damage and is an absolute beast :b tomorrow hopefully gonna try find a high level female giga and start an army!

The Raptor

As I was going on a mountain, I found a 150 raptor so I was like I have Trank darts with my long neck so I can tame it then I tame it I find a Rex to try to kill with other raptors and some Carnos but as soon as I found a Rex, a giga showed up and killed my 150 raptor that I haven’t named yet and all of my tames and me.

Once I saw a giga for the first time. He was on the mountain. When he bit my pteronadon it almost one shot him.

I tamed 1 when I was level 53. How to tame you want a 400% Crossbow 1 Runic Venom Wyvern with 4K stam

Find your Runic Venom Wyvern knock it out with the crossbow find a Giga and start attacking the wyvern should only do max 260 damage a hit let the giga kill somethings here and there and soon it should be knocked out my Giga was left with 1.1 K after it got knocked out

The reason why I did a Runic Venom Wyvern is that for me it was bugged and the giga was doing no damage to it plus it's bite and poison attack does toper.

When I tamed my first Giga I noticed that the meele when from 115 to 60. And dododex said it had high weight my tribe members let me keep him and I named him red moon because he was silvery-blackish top and red belly. My tribe members, Sakura, Ray, and Iron (idk how to spell irons full in game name) went kind of crazy when Ray found a wyvern egg while it was taming and someone named clown helped us trap it and ko it. I thought it was funny it had more hip than my lvl 165 twins that have 215 damage. So if your taming a Giga I recommend having a tribe or people helping you. Now my Giga sits in front of Rays tribe (my tribe but Rays the leader) base , the castle, we tamed it in Ragnarark and now it’s there

I quit.I was on ark mobile getting ready to tame a giga i got the green light to tame. He was already trapped thanks to my lovely server so it made my job a lot easier.I went over to the giga on my quetz and started tranqing it but i wasnt getting any good shots so I got a bit closer…turns out i went a bit too close and got one shot.-. no big deal ill go back and tame it easy…it was out of the trap somehow and i got one shot again.Was it too late to say that was my last flyer since my “landlord” gave me that one and said it was the last one they would give me😭

Me and my fellow tribe mate just tamed our first giga! It was on half burnt island. Unfortunately my tribe mates bird got killed, but we did a stone gate trap method and made sure it did not target the stone or us and viola! Thanks Dododex! :)

My friend and I were preparing to tame one of these guys. Of course we weren’t very experienced at the time and it just turned into us running around shooting a giga with shock darts while dying very often. Once we got it tamed we thought it would be an amazing idea to test it on an alpha Rex that was too close to our base and being rather annoying. The giga died. That was the day I realized just how much stronger wild gigas were compared to tamed ones. So much preparation for nothing.

My Giga LITERALLY turned orange from the potential dust seeds from Earth Day gift. Good thing I restored data. IT DID NOT LOOK GOOD!!!

I was trying to tame a giga while I was level 72, I was punching far far above my weight class and I realized that after the many many attempts it took to tame my giga

I found a 180 giga I came in with 5 rexes acended sadle and teak armor when I was setting up a base of oppression I looked away for one second then I looked back and I saw a respawn screen

The Argentavis flew to the peak, nervous for his life, as Diablo was not the most cool-headed Dino on the island. South of the redwoods and swamp, it took down a few of our scouts that tried getting closer to it out of the redwoods, and it seems to have a fort just above the river that leads to the swamp.”

walking around the volcano at around 4.0 difficulty with a level 16 rex i just tamed and my level 77 ish rex… after fighting a pack of allos one of these big guys shows up. Killed the rex first at around 4 hits had a nice little fight with the rex but of course the giga wins and kills me in one hit. Think ill take a break from ark now lol

I really don't like these things,if there wild,I had a lightning wyvern named storm,me and 3 Crystal wyverns battled a giga,but storm died,so we ran home🙁🙁🙁🙁

Babysat a giga in mobile untill 10%. Fully filled a trough with stacks of meat. Left baby giga for 3 minutes. Came back to dead baby giga and no meat in the trough.
