The easiest way for me to tame the bee is to get ghille armor on, simple kibble, big repellant and some flame arrows with oil jar. Put the bug repellant on. Throw the oil jar on the hive and shoot it with the flame arrow. It will break the hive. Be sure to get to a distance that they can’t attack you though since some bees will fly toward you. Then put the kibble in your last slot on your inventory bar. Walk up to the queen bee and hit E. I have used other methods and by far this was the easiest. You don’t need high powered weapons or any mounts to kill the hive. Super fast and efficient. Hardest thing was to find a hive. (I did this in Scorched Earth on PC)

Easiest way I've found was sit on a bear and send 2 argy or a powerful flyer to attack nest, if they're overwhelmed by the bees whistle passive and clear out the bees. After the hive breaks put on ghillie and disable follow and usually one rare flower gets you a bee

If you want to transfer the bee off server, Once tamed, before you do anything, activate a cryopod. Walk up to your newly tamed queen, and cryo it. Do not “obtain hive” if you want to cryo it. Once inside a cryopod, it functions like any other tame. Once you get it where you want to go, and want to place your hive, throw the bee out of the cryopod and THEN walk up to it and “obtain hive”. If you cryo your queen bee, she loses her “drones”, but those drones have nothing to do with honey production, they only act as her primary source of “attack” when whistling her to attack an enemy (there are better Dino’s to use for this purpose).

Use a stalker or astrocetus space whale to get up high in the trees of genesis bog to find the hives. Box the hive in against the tree and tame.

When destroying the nest having a frog/beezlbufo is super useful .

Build a small room around the hive and sneak attack it with a sword/pike...then wait outside until it can be fed. Bee will be stuck inside. Can also build a windowframe and shoot it with arrows

Sometimes... When you tamed them...their "bees" will still enemies and kill their mother who summoned them...(common they wanna attack you first...)

And when you tamed, you can put much things to make them not moveable and use them to attack your enemies with summon bees in auto.(but their never eat any thing before turn to hive.)

On Ab they can get stuck in their own hives since there are multiple stacked on each other. You can still feed them if you get close enough.

To tame one ride a dino, such as an argy, and attack the hive until it breaks then have rare flowers in your last slot and chase the bee and press y. A ghillie suit and bug repellent helps a lot

U cant feed the queen whe u got stung, so wear a bug repellant or full set of ghilie suit. U dont have to waste hour trying to tame this thing without bug repellant

For me I found it easier taming it with another person. Have your friend be on a mount preferably rex or something of that nature. Have them break the hive. The other person in full ghillie and uses bug repellent. The drones should attack the person on the mount. While the drones are distracted. Walk up to the queen bee and use flowers or kibble. (Passive Tame put food in last slot) the drones will start to attack you if and when they see you. Have the person on the mount follow behind you. If you aggro drones your friend kills them, and you continue to tame the queen bee. Helps to have a lot of health. A lot of health I had 600 and they almost killed me

Break open the hive queen is always level 5 use five rare flowers for passive only tame be warned drones she spawn will sting you so bring alot of food to heal yourself.

Is there a reason why no matter how many hives I destroy I can’t see a queen? Been doing it for a while now, at least 10 hrs and nothing…

To tame you have to find a hive with bees destroy the hive and tame the queen by passively feeding it rare flowers.

On ark mobile edition they can be instantly tamed with 1 raw prime meat

I broke the beehive from a very far distance with a sniper. It took a while, but worked. Bees never went far enough to reach me. Then I went back, found the queen fed her with rare flowers. I wore repellent and ghillie. Nice, quick and easy.
