After destroying the hive use the honey it drops to keep the queen close by adding it to task bar and throwing it on the floor it works guys

Giant bee honey should not spoil but it should crystallize but you can heat it up at a campfire and it will turn back to liquid honey

When filling your bee hives with rare flowers, they go through 1 flower ever 45mins.

100 flowers equals 75hrs in real time 🫡

It makes honey every 45mins and eats rare flowers every 4 hours

Take it home, make it make a nest at your base, get ghille armour, get your honey plus it produces bees that fight for the queen but the mand nest will hurt you when your close without ghille armour

Put Rare Flowers in the hive so it can produce Honey which is used for a lot of things

Someone here said it cant be transfered. It can when inside of a cryo.

Place your hive next to water sit in the water and you can open the hive without your bees attacking you

You can put it in a cryo pod after you demolish the hive and transfer it that way up for those who don’t know

The honey is a must for fishing. It can be used for salmon, just like leech blood. I used it as bait for an hour and noticed that fish bite more frequently. In a pool with coel and salmon, I noticed that the salmon bit more frequently than the coels while using honey as bait.

To make honey last practically forever, make a fishing rod and equip honey, that is about to spoil, to the fishing rod, then un-equip it. It should refresh the spoil timer. Does not work with leech blood. Tested on PS4.

Honey the bee creates expires quickly. (even in a fridge.)

You can actually (attach) the honey to a fishing rod and remove at anytime. This will prevent the honey from ever expiring! Good way to store it as fishing rods are so cheap to make!

My advice for farming up some honey, or taming one of these guys is as follows:

1. Tame a Bronto and equip it with platform saddle

2. Tame a dire bear

3. Go to the redwoods and look for hives

4. Position Bronto to where you can hit the hive with your bear

5. Hit the hive and get the 15 honey with the bear

6. Destroy the hive and get a queen bee to come out

7. Tame with kibble whilst wearing ghillie and bug repelant

8. Turn your bee into a hive and put rare flowers in it to passively gain honey

keep some rare flowers in the hive after they are tamed, they'll consume it very slowly, but it heals the hive.

After placing the hive down you demolish it and get your queen bee back

You can use bug repellent to open your hives with out taking damage

Just submitted a tip about them being really slow. After getting back to my base, I realized obtaining their hive puts theM IN YOUR INVENTORY.
