Use a snow owl to deflate the gasbags and keep them from flying away and you heal them so you wont kill them with tranqs.

Use 6 or more stone dino gates like you would on argy (after update) to trap- with 2 doors on the end, then pump full of tranq darts.

They spawn in lunar caves on genesis and the wasteland on extinction

They are believed to be part of the Tardigrada phylum, a group of extremophile microgranisims that can survive literally any environment, from extreme cold to extreme radiation, these guys are the hardiest of animals.

They have a damage resistance when inflated, so use a snow owl to freeze and deflate. After latest update, they can no longer be picked up or hit with bola. Heavily suggested to clear area of hostiles before KO. If timed right, you can keep gasbag in same area while tranqing by alternating freezing and shooting.

1. Get 3 wood dino gates and 2 gate doors

2.use a snow owl to freeze da gasbags

3.build the gates and put a door on each side

4. Knockout gasbags and feed mejo berries

5.BAM. tamed gasbags.

Net with a harpoon gun, save yourself the time

You can use a harpoon launcher with net projectile to keep these still whilst you knock them out.

Use 4 Dino gateways in a square formation with 3 doors attached, eat rare flowers and get it to follow you into the trap, as soon as it’s inside the trap stick the last set of doors on and I will be trapped inside there, it can rotate but haven’t had one jump out yet, it doesn’t even try to 👌🏼😊

I just chased her and shot her in the butt with Tranq darts. Took 5 min

To tame this guy, I froze it with a snow owl and placed 4 wooden billboards around it. Then, I placed a thatch foundation and 3 thatch doorways up, then thatch roofs so it couldn’t jump out.

Kept deflating it by freezing it. It was really awkward because it kept inflating again immediately, but I just kept doing it and eventually it stopped inflating itself all the time.

When you are carrying a gasbag with a quetzal it takes wayyyyy more tranq darts then dodo dex says. It took around 110 darts for a lol 145. Was worth it but good thing i brough extra gear.

It doesn't break wood. To trap it use 4 dino gates, 2 wood doors, and a large bear trap, I think that this is the easiest way to tame a gasbags.

A Snow Owl freezing a Gasbags alone will not stop it from re-inflating itself. It'll still take reduced damage. If you freeze it with a snow owl and use the net projectile before it unfreezes it will be ensared while not inflated, allowing you to efficiently and quickly knock it out without chasing it or constantly freezing it.

Use 4 billboards and tightly trap them in place...They can't fly away

Good a trap. Throw down a trail of honey. Lead it inside. Got eem.

Shoot it once, then freeze with snow owl. Since you healded it, all is forgiven it wont attack you....so shoot it again.....rinse and repeat. When you freeze it deflates so max dmg/torpor...better then when its trapped and always bloated

Best way to tame on gen 2 use jet pack and follow it and shoot it with tranq arrows
