A Snow Owl freezing a Gasbags alone will not stop it from re-inflating itself. It'll still take reduced damage. If you freeze it with a snow owl and use the net projectile before it unfreezes it will be ensared while not inflated, allowing you to efficiently and quickly knock it out without chasing it or constantly freezing it.

To tame this guy, I froze it with a snow owl and placed 4 wooden billboards around it. Then, I placed a thatch foundation and 3 thatch doorways up, then thatch roofs so it couldn’t jump out.

Kept deflating it by freezing it. It was really awkward because it kept inflating again immediately, but I just kept doing it and eventually it stopped inflating itself all the time.

It takes fall damage BUT you can go as high as you want and take no damage! Just jump off the Gasbag just before you touch the ground! Thank me later!

Use 4 billboards and tightly trap them in place...They can't fly away

Gasbags have the second highest base carrying weight I. The entire game. Combined with their mobility this makes them one of the best pack miles in the game

Apparently they are supposed to be like a hot air ballon from what i heard, you load it up to almost encumberation and have it inflate like the fat caterpillar it is

If you have a gasbags that has a lot of weight but you want more try a delivery crate! It can carry 5k weight but if you crash land it will drop in a bag so you might want some oxygen too.

Shoot it once, then freeze with snow owl. Since you healded it, all is forgiven it wont attack you....so shoot it again.....rinse and repeat. When you freeze it deflates so max dmg/torpor...better then when its trapped and always bloated

If you run out of gas and are falling to your death, right before you hit the ground, dismount, and your fly bean will be safe, and you will land on top of it. Works every time if you do it right. Also this literally works for every other creature.

They can be found in wasteland on extinction and in cave in space on genesis

Best way to tame on gen 2 use jet pack and follow it and shoot it with tranq arrows

Gasbag takes 80% less damage when sucked up. Can take hit rom titan, and anything at 80% less damage!

Upgrade oxygen for longer airtime/ avoid fall damage. Speed for fast travel. Weight is amazing.

They do take fall damage so be careful of how high you go.

Awesome for packing resorces and they are fast too the only down side is that u need to stop to get air that way u can float faster and also if u jump then go forward then use the gas boost u can float faster and u won't have to worry about fall dmg.

Think about this: the Gasbags is the only New To Extinction creature so far that’s in another map besides extinction, and that’s Genesis part 1.

Did anyone else realize that the gasbag has a back seat,They can pretty much become an army vehicle

On extinction use the gasbag for the caves because you can fly over the Dinos and it can tank tons of damage plus a damage reduction from the saddle and an 80% damage reduction when full of air

Fill up to around 50-80 gas for a short hop
