So, what a pain they are to catch!

I ended up using a bola, and I didn’t read before about using darts instead of arrows.

I did use tranq arrows, it’s health got all the way down to 8 and then it suddenly fell unconscious - so you can use arrows but just be very careful. I’ve used mejoberries to feed it and also bio toxin to help keep it asleep.

Taming these guys is a pain, since they stay asleep for 10 secs. But the idea to keep these guys asleep is by bringing bio toxin. Since it has a lot of torpor when consumed,. But what sucks about biotoxin is that it spoils. Up if this was useful.

Gallimimuses can be picked up with argies at least on mobile.

So, to tame one of these sonic speedy-like creatures, you’ll need about 29 toxin things that you get from killing cniadra or whatever the jellyfish are called, about 7, after you have it put it in your flyer or any other Dino you will be riding to tame it, so that way it doesn’t expire, Look for your desired level and then get about 5 bolas incase you miss, after you bola it tranq it two times in the head, ⚠️Don’t knock out in water or it will drown⚠️, One it knocks out feed it berries or crops or any herbivore foods you have, once you feed it grab the bio toxin from your Dino and put the bio toxin in the gallimimus inventory, once the torpor goes down to 478 feed it biotoxin and just repeat once the torpor goes down to 478 or 458, Once it’s tamed you will have to do the Hunt: raptor quest to get a free gallimimus saddle!(its three people type of saddle) so make sure to pump the points into speed and health and enjoy your speedy friend!

Bolas DO WORK on MOBILE. just tested it out

Uhhm. Well, once bola it or trap it , you shouldn't use a crossbow or a wooden bow(not even Ascendant). Because it's health ratio compared to its torpor is very low. You will 99% end up killing it if use a bow and tranq arrows . So i recommend using tranq dart on a rifle or toxicants on a powerful crossbow.

( I lost a 290 gallimimus trying to tame it with tranq arrows)

However it's not that much useful, i just did try to complete the pursuit

Best way to tame:

1 Bola it

2 shoot it with tranq darts, not arrows

3 feed it mejoberries for fastest tame time

4 run like sonic the hedgehog on your new speedy friend!

NEVER LEAVE THIS BUGGER ALONE FOR 2 SECONDS, THEY WAKE UP FAST IVE FAILED MANY TIMES BECAUSE OF THIS

How to tame: Gallimimus. (This is for mobile players only!)

You will need: Argy with saddle, Dimetrodon kibble, Bola, 35 Narcotic, 20 mejoberries and 5 Tranq darts and a longneck rifle.

Step 1: Find a Gallimimus in the swamp.

Step 2: Pick up the Gallimimus with your argy, and carry it back to the island that your base is on.

Step 3: Land your argy, and put the bola in your hot bar.

Step 4: Bola the Gallimimus.

Step 5: Make sure your longneck was in your hot bar, and shoot until unconsious.

Step 6: Give it the Dimetrodon kibble, narcotics and mejoberries.

Step 7: Feed it narcotic whenever you feel it needs it.

Step 8: Once it's tamed, carry it to your base.

Step 9: Target it when you get "Tame: Gallimimus", and get the rewards.

You can also complete "Hunt: Raptor" and get a Gallimimus saddle.
