If you want one of these, be prepared. They exist in areas around the Spine and beyond. There are Seekers, there are Nameless. If these don’t get you, then the Reaper Queen will surely get you. Not recommended for solo players who aren’t prepared for the worst. Bring your best and be prepared for anything. Zip lines, charge lanterns and batteries, light Dinos, guns. You name it, and it’s recommended to bring.

If you are on The Island server and you need to feed a baby featherlight, fill its inventory with raw meat and NOT berries or it'll die.

To the person from 2022 asking how these aren’t an early game tame, well now they are surprisingly!, I mean , if you have a pteranodon on Fjordur and go to the swamp to quickly gather some auric mushrooms for them, and fly out and go to the small aberration cave that requires no hazard suit all you have to do is find a Featherlight,

and hope there’s no rock drakes near it, ( They spawn in there as well as Ravagers, Megalosaurs,Scorpions

idk about anything else dangerous, that’s all I’ve seen that attack, unless you count roll rats that attack if you steal their gems

So in Fjordur they are technically early game ig

Grapple hook them like other light pets to take them in a safe spot to tame.

How i tame mine on valgureo is i tamed a bloodstalker on genesis 2 and transfered it over to my valgureo and took it over to thenabb zone. Its perfect for geting around and the featherlights you can find at the portal area. Also a deinonychus works to just dont pick any fights. I didnt find any tips for valgureo so I decided to write this. Peace✌✌✌✌

If you want to tame them it’s much easier to do on gen 2. You can just fly around and feed it instead of using tools to ground it or waiting for it to land.
