Be careful around these things. They are fast and one hit can knock you out. Somehow they wander onto the shore in Viking Bay in ragnarok and are a massive pain to deal with

They spawn at the surface in Viking bay in ragnaros, near the west side of it. It almost killed me, so be careful early game.

They are, quite literally, Sea Scorpions; so unless you have an aquatic mount with some hefty torpor resistance, stay away from the sea floor. They can't swim, but hover right above the ground, kinda like a trilobite (They spawn in Viking Bay on Ragnarok, and can easily follow you onto land from there). If you really feel like it, they do drop Black Pearls when harvested, and so can be valuable as long as you keep an eye on your depth/what else may lurk in the darkness.

Look out for these on ragnarok, they spawn in Viking bay and if brought to the shore WILL COME OUT ONTO LAND AND BE UNAFFECTED. They will tranq you if brought out of water!!!

Shoot from a distance, these will easily knock you out with their torpor inducing attack

They knock you out in one hit and are found mostly near the wooden crates in ragnarok.

They crawl along the ocean floor and are a bit hard to spot. They are the most poisonous creatures in the game, and will knock you out in one hit if given the chance. Use a dino like Basil or Ichthy to deal knockback until they die, then use pick for most black pearls. Dunks get even more black pearls, but can be dangerous to take into squid territory.

Kill these to get black pearls!

They like too swim on the land in Viking bay 1 it is a glitch

This thing does so much torpor it’s scary. Watch out for the rock lobster.

Will instantly knock you out, can't be tamed, nothing really attacks it
