Theres a spot of rag around 18 23 where that giga skelly is where they often float onto land. Try luring all the ones in the water near that ship wreck and take em out with a decent semi aquatic tame and youll rake in black pearls

You can find these in mass in the eastern water cave.

You will never see these guys in the ocean.

The damage might seem low, but it can easily knock you out. Fight from range, it is slow.

Don't get close to them without a high level tame with high torpor, they will mess you up otherwise.

The great eucrypted is impossible to tame but a great source of oil and chitin if you have a spear or a pike you can just hit it and it will knowck back and Ryan you can slowly walk back wards than bam. It will eventually die. Just watch out for other ones attacking from behind they will knock you out quickly.
