The action button you use to feed the Equus when you are on its back is the button you use to mount it, if you are in Xbox it's Y. You won't dismount it, you will feed it. I spent ages trying to figure out what button to press and not once did I think it would be the same button you normally dis/mount with.

Rocarots are insta tame for low levles.

Why did the taming bar go down and it had no taming option after I fed it rockcarrots?

These guys would rather run off and go deep into the ocean and get killed by some random sea dino than be tamed by me sacrificing rockarrots

I have a way of gaming my Equus now, so I’ll share it with ya’ll.

First, you have to get like 150 roccarrots.

Second, find an Equus.

Third, kill it, take the implant and make sure you have amber.

Fourth, go to an obelisk and make a pen around the ressurector thing. Make sure you have enough room for it to run.

Ressurect it and take it.

I hope this helps ya’ll :) (Also, make sure you have no pets on Thor shoulder, and that you have a box with a roof around the mount you used to get there.)

If your on mobile finish the kill megapirrana quest and use the tame helper that it gives you to tame it and it should take 4 rockkarrots for a level 20 thats how i did it and its way easier

Make sure you jump off of the equus after feeding it each time.

When trying to tame one don’t feed it twice in a row - it will buck you off, wait till it’s hungry again or if it’s stuck somewhere get off wait a few minutes then get back on - it should be hungry again

Here’s a tip just collect 20ambers from watching videos buy a chef station buy roach carrots from them but plz buy them after you see them after you get locate a small level eqqus then and then tame if you are playing on hard mode

I just feed carrots when they are hungry, takes about 5 or so. Just go up, feed and step back fast, watch from a distance until they are showing hunger then feed again until tamed.

Easy to tame now.

Help me plz I have a level 114 in a pin and I don’t know the fastest way to tame.

Never feed this guys kibble I feed one a rock carrot it did half the taming percent but the kibble did 0.2 taming don't use kibble

If you don’t have a bird just tame a raptor or two and have them on neutral and they will protect you and your zebra-horse

When taming them it’s easier to ride them and give them one minor soothing balm and rock arrows until it’s tamed but kill anything that could hurt them I didn’t do that with my first one and a baryons killed it

Shove a bunch of Rockcarrots in his ass whenever he lifts his legs to throw u away

Also while pursuing him crouch and go slowly near him when ur close to him u can sit on his back

Such pain in the a.. to tame, specially for higher levels

So, as it's so easy to breed, I would honestly search for the lower levels, and breed it a lot of times,

By this way, I'm pretty sure I'd get the perfect knock-out machine, with almost ease

To tame it (on pc) press E when it bucks

Build taming pins on herbivore Island and drop them off with an argy not bad and definitely helps lost a few to the water

After decades of feeding a level 3 equus 77 rockarrot i have my equus once and for all!
