Hey everyone, I am going to tell you how I tamed a low level equus (lvl 11) on MOBILE

The first thing that I did was to gather some rockarotts collect at least 20!!! An easy way to collect rockarotts is to make a medium crop plot. ( it will give you a few hundred rockarotts if u keep it healthy). The second thing I did was to not click the quest “tame equus” because it will make the surroundings a lot harder to get to the equus. (I found my equus in the red woods). I know some of you are afraid to go into the red woods because of terror birds etc,.. but bring a flying mount (like a pteranodon) but fly it and when u find the equus, tell it to follow you. Make sure that your flying mount is strong; so when u feed the equus a rockarott and get on its back it can protect you if some carnivore comes along. While your on the equus, feed it rockarotts when it gets hungry. Lastly, go to your home on your flying mount and teleport the equus to you. If u don’t know how to do this here is how : go to the place where you want to teleport your animal then go to YOUR inventory and there should be a a tab that says “tames(and your number of tames)” click that button and it should show all of your tames. Next wait for the animal to spawn (it should take 1-2 minutes so be calm if it doesn’t come right away)

Then when you spawn you equus at your home click the quest “tame equus” then u should get a free equus saddle!

Don't listen to those who say that you can tame the equus with Berry's. It will take hours!

Use carrots or kibble. You need to be a lvl 10 to tame the equus. But there's a small garden on valguero map. And a garden on Ragnarök. (That is how Ragnaröks is supposed to be spelled. Not with o.)

Pay attention to the right bottom corner once riding to know when you need to feed it a carrot! Makes taming a breeze once that's figured out.

I went to tame one and it took me forever to find. Then right when I found one a pego stole my kibble. Smh

If you have Argy, just pick it up and put it in a taming pen, I do t know if anyone has done this, but I tried it and even though my first rodeo (I regret nothing) was not so great and got very little effectiveness, I didn’t worry about it running into the jaws of an Allo.

The reason the taming effect I was was low as because it was literally my first time taming one, hence the pun. Use ghillie suit for better results.

I've never had any luck with taming these.

I always end up using over 50 rockarrots and it takes about an hour.

What is everyone saying about hard to tame? I tamed a level 25 on rag with carrots for my first tame and it was easy!

THESE THINGS. i was so excited to start the " tame: equus " pursuit because i love horses and i wanted a prehistoric horse. THESE FREAKING THINGS. I CANNOT. I HAVEN'T EVEN TAMED IT YET CAUSE IT'S SO HARD. A THERINOSAUR, RAPTORS, AND CARNO'S ARE ALWAYS BY THESE THINGS I SWEAR. I HAVE LOST 3 OF MY BEST DINOS TRYING TO TAME AN EQUUS. long story short: annoying to tame.

Best way to tame safely instead of having it run out an about with you on it. Get ghillie get carrots. Feed ride. Have some on tapejara to push you up against rock and the horse and you will get stuck in the tapejaras wings and itll still tame. Or have a rex follow you on lowest and when the equus goes into a rock the rex will come behind it and get t stuck as well

Dis buddy can hit you unconscious so make sure to feed him when he bucks especially in dangerous environments

The right click attack does torpor damage.

Plaese include that in the dex for knockout options.

Walk a wyvern over the top of it and jump on! Hey presto, you've got an easy tame with no issues

Carrots takes a bit longer than the kibble, but definitely easier to come by. The level difference is only 1 level between the two. To tame put carrots in last quick slot, sneak up behind the horse and feed it then quickly jump on. It will want to buck you off so you will Want to feed if again. Every 10-45 seconds after that it will try to kick you off again, just fees it again. Keep on eye on lower left corner of the screen. That emblem will start to flash and words appear above it. That's when you know it's trying to kick you off and to feed it. You only have a 2 seconds window to feed it before you get kicked off and knocked unconscious

Don't trust Dododex when taming the horse. Always bring with 10 extra of what you are taming with

Have fun taming one on an official server, you'll get booted off half a dozen times due to server lag. Now I'm stuck with 2 worthless equus.
