I just tamed one myself and love thing Honestly super easy tame

This stupid horse has the worst luck. How strange that as soon as I was taming it I saw and got attack by my first griffin. Not to mention the Rex that was near.

I absolutely love horses, who doesn’t? And how could they not? I love to ride, and I get overjoyed when I see one I ark. The only thing is that I don’t really know how to tame one! Well, I do, but it’s hard to get carrots. Please write a tip on an easy way to get carrots, and find horses!

My twin sister saw and told me stop what I was doing and taming and I was like ok ✅ (I was taming a iquana and it had just tamed) * tamed * sister: now kill all the rest of your animals (I YELLED NO)(I had a max lvl Rex and a few sarco and raptors a spino (and a few more theories) T-T

(I went to get a snack and she was killing all my Dino’s on my ipad she had just finished killing them all ) I killed the horse and she yelled that all my animals were ugly and the horse 🐴 wa butiful I kicked her out of our room

I wouldn’t try to tame this hell pony. I spent hours trying to get one just for it to lie to me it wanted a carrot and throw me off it’s back to run away. I tried taming multiple of these and as soon as I’m half way of taming it, it will say it wants a carrot and I will give it one as soon as it asks then it throws me off and runs away as it’s taming starts to go down. And I taste my time on this pony just for it to run away. I went from loving this creature to hating it because it keeps doing this and I don’t know why

I was taking it and I had brought 100 rock carrots cud this thing takes so long,so when I had got it to 85% a dilo JUST HAD TO COME and end bring the tame to 0%(also if u don kno if passive tame get hurt u lose all progress

Once I was still a foal my mom used to tell me don’t get beside other Equus’s if not they’ll kick you and I did not trust my mom I went behind another horse near too near and then the other horse responded to me “ Get away from me please little foal I am not your mother” and then I ran to my mom and then my mom said to me “ I told you do NOT be near another horse and I said “sorry” to her

Apollo trotted around his stables, he whispered to Bao " Hi," Bao looked at him in a unpleasant way and said in a shy way, " Hello, " Apollo trotted outside to the pen to graze on some grass, Fang opened up the gates to the barn and he walked in with two carrots, Apollo trotted happly up to him, Fang gave Apollo and Bao both a carrot Bao neighed quietly but, happily Apollo ate the carrot happily. Fang grabbed two halters and some leads, he put the lead and halters on Bao and Apollo he led them outside and, hooked them up to a chariot and he whipped them softly to get them both going. He reached out for 2 curved katanas.

This thing made me hate Megalodon. Don't tame it near the water cuz when it spots you it wil go for a swim. I saw a Megalodon swimming around the Equus I was taming and then I had to search for a new one to tame. RIP beautiful Equus.

Okay. So, here I was flying around in my argy Aeolas one day and got the bright idea to go get a female equus to mate I with my current best boi Galliant my male Equus. So I spend all night flying around the map six (yes six blasted times._.) to find a female.. So eventually I found one, a lvl 70. So I'm stoked as all heck right. So I take the lass to the safest beach on the Island figuring it'd make it easier to take the lassy up.

Boi was I wrong. But that's a part for later lol. So here I was on the beach with the lassy following her around with a bunch of carrots and low and behold what does it do... Soooo here we go.. first carrot in it runs right at a sarrco lvl 80 something... So I'm like "What!?!? What in the bloody blasted $#$$$##&$!!! Are you thinking!?... So I take it out just barely avoiding disaster.. then I'm like okay well least that's the only big thing around and it's now mence meat... Low and behold two near calks of it running off like usual and warm it finds yet another sarco!!? So I'm like well frick gotta save the wee lass. So I killed the second sarco and just as that's done I look back to see it look just barely my direction and then bolts. Well I think to myself "well least it's now safe from sarco B's.-." wrong!! Blasted thing darts half way round the beach narrowly getting past three raptors and at this pot I'm furious lol, but it's nothing predator based that takes out this beauty of a horse.. nooo fk#$&$ runs out into the middle of the ocean and drowns itself.-. up if you know my pain;-;

this thing. Is impossible to tame. I used 20 carrots. I WAITED TILL THE RIGHT MOMENT. NOPE HE DIDNT WANT TO BE TAMED

SO IM GONNA FEED EACH OF THESE TO A RANDOM MEG

They hate me they ran into a Rex when I wanted to tame one 💀💀

Chapter 13

Steven staggered into camp, still reeling from his encounter with Leo. In the distance, Quinn raised her head and shooed a nearby survivor away before walking up to Steven. "No food?" she sighed. "Well that's alright. Teresa's group found a few stray dilos. We can survive off that for a little while, but we'll need to-"

"You lied." Steven muttered, staring at the ground.

Quinn paused before shaking her head. "I'm sorry, what?"

Steven looked her directly in the eye. "You lied to me. Leo wasn't in the Dead Band."

Quinn sighed, "No, Leo wasn't in the Dead Band. Look, he was trying his best to fit in like us, but everyone knew and we had no idea what would happen if ever got too deep into the forest. In the end… wait, how did you find out?"

"I ran into him in the forest," Steven said throwing down his gear.

"He's alive?" Quinn's eyes widened.

"Yeah, and he's also the horseman. He killed the other one." Steven couldn't hide the anger in his voice. Again and again Quinn lied to his face. "He only let me go to deliver a message to you."

The chief fell silent, unable to find the words to express her fear. Her face said it all. Steven sighed, placing a hand on his forehead in exasperation, "He's planning on killing every survivor on this island for good; he's going to ignite the Mare."

Quinn's face went blank. "Then we only have one choice left. We fight the monster with another monster."

Chapter 12

Leo held out his hands and took in a deep breath before releasing it in a sigh of contentment. "This," he replied, "is home. The heart of the dark forest, where no light can survive."

Before Steven could say another word, a soft braying broke the silence. He turned his head towards it slowly. Two glowing orange orbs stared at him through the darkness. They held still only for a second before circling him. As they came closer amd towered over him, Steven could make out the shape of a horse's muzzle.

Steven turned back to Leo, unable to look death in her large, orange eyes. He fumbled for words. "How… why…"

Leo scoffed, amused by Steven's ignorance. "The horseman was going to kill me, so I killed him first and took his place."

"How?! How is that even possible?"

"I was already a horseman," Leo shrugged, "I just had to retake my mantle."

Steven held up a hand. He didn't even acknowledge the Mare anymore. He was too shocked to care about anything else. "What do you mean you were already a horseman?"

Leo's eyebrows raised,"You don't know?" Then the smile across his face widened slowly. "They didn't tell you..."

"Quinn told me you used to be in the Dead Band."

Leo let out a laugh laced with disgust. He shook a finger at Steven, "No, no. You see, I came here the same way as everyone else. Wake up without a memory, without any idea who you are. Only difference between me and everyone else is, I woke with power; the power over life and death on this island."

Steven stood to his feet. "But the Survivor Band, they rescued you! They made you human again, why didn't you go back?"

"They used me!" Leo spat. His happy attitude was replaced by sheer rage. "They kept me around because they thought I could help them survive. They were afraid of what would happen if they let me go; I was the one responsible for so many of their dead. I was never really a person to them. I was a conqured beast, a means to an end. They kept me powerless. Made me fear what I was capable of." Leo reached out and the Mare instinticly went to his side, brushing against his hand.

"Not anymore," Leo said with a grin. "They haven't seen half of what I can do to this island." He walked past Steven to a nearby rock, grabbing something and lifting it up. Steven strained his eyes through the darkness. It was the lantern. The Mare whinnyed and stamped her hooves. Leo ran his hand along her neck. "Easy girl. I promise, we only have to do this one more time."

I love equus, they are just good tames…but are so hard to find!! I searched for one day and had bad experiences, like when a equus bucked me off and ran into a alpha raptor but then i tamed a beige and blue one with a white base and i was searching for a name and was like what name? And my historical brain came up with a list of dictators and forced me to choose alexander. Now i have a Belarusian dictator horse who carries loads and drinks beer and hates snails. I love equus.

I tamed and equus it was around lvl 50 I had knocked out a lvl 25 male trike there was a female lvl 25 around but this lvl 15 and the 25 teamed up on my equus. My equus knocked out the lvl 25 but sadly died to the lvl 15 R.I.P Zebra The Equus 😢

So, whoever said that they are called Allohippus, yeah they are. Its just that they are Equus Stenionis, or reffered as the stenon zebra. Etheir name is true, but Equus is the first word of the name so- Thats the reason. Its actually not the wrong name, it just that they used Equus. Primarily because it suits it (My opinion, or because its other names are too long, and about 2 words. -TinaZ
