An Equus is an alternative to tranq arrows if trying to knock out a pteranodon.

Seem to appear somewhat regularly at hidden lake on The Island map. Since there usually aren't any threats there, it's a great place to tame.

So, on ragnarok they spawn near the lighthouse/tower by the wyvern trench, if you knock it out and build a large pen, maybe a 5 by 5 then let it wake up, you can tame it in the box

If you want an Equus in the island then go to the highlands because a lot of the spawn there but what out for Allosauruses
