The R Equus is soo beautiful! I tamed a low level one and put a bunch of levels into melee and stam and a little health. And he is an absolute beast. Knocks out everything with 1 hit. You're best on a megalosaurus with some speed pumped, 130-ish, so you can catch up to the horse and pick it up. Bring it to a taming pen so it doesn't run straight into your base defense... for me, a dozen Rexes on aggressive.
