What are tips for electrophorus? Tips and strategies for electrophorus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
I have just tamed one and it was shocking me for hours I am still getting shocked now so ride on a manta they can shock them as well but it’s not a none painful experience to have
In mobile, they can be tame easily just by feeding while riding itchys, they will not aggro you whatsoever. The problem is taking them back to your home water because all the megalodons around the water will aggro on it.I advice to leave where you tame or bring it into a underwater cave and leave it there, and then request it back once you get to safe water.
They are able to be tamed with anglergel anglers can be found in the same area as electrophis it lives in the snowy region and I recommend that you have a Meg or a icthy and it is best to tame a Meg with a crossbow or rifle with trank darts or arrows you should also have a full set of scuba gear and to tame the icthy you need to use any fish meat to tame it just stand in the water and wait for them to come to feed them and it’s the same thing with the eletrophis sit in the deep water and wait that is it for the tip I hope this helps you and every thing I said is from personal experience ✌🏻
To tame it on mobile , use itchy (dolphin) they don't attack when you are on dolphin, put biotoxin and smoothing balm in your hotbar and feed it

Tame a basilo and you won’t get thrown off when it shocks and can easily kill it
Lost 3 squids to these guys they glitch into your belly and get stuck until you die
If in a pinch and you just tamed an itchy then try to tame this as a last ditch effort they can be passive tamed and I got attacked by a school? What ever the ploral is and well now I have 3 electric eels
Use a basilo. Isolate the eel you want by killing the others, you can try to tame multiple at once but it gets hard to time the shocks. You can’t not aggro them, but repellant doesn’t work, just let them attack. The eel will shock, then bite a few times as it charges up, flee a bit, then come back and shock again. Wait for the shock to be over, dismount while it’s biting your basilo, feed it biotoxin, then remount the basilo for safety and wait for the next feed. Seems to take about 2 shock cycles for a low level to want the second feed. I was able to do this without taking any damage or torpor on my character.
You can outrun flippers, they aren't danger with scuba tank, flippers and full flak or riot, if u find the one ur gonna take either separate it from it's pack ( if it had one) or tame all of them
Use a bary to lead them to shore and get them stuck-ish. Then stand over them and feed. If on PC or Console than build a small box around them by the shore and they will be stuck. You should be able to stand in feed range without being shocked. Tada. You’ve tamed a boa on steroids.
Can b tamed with cooked lamb chop also ,..i ll try raw soon
Kite them to the surface. Wear riot gear and have a friend grapple hook you so they can pull your limp body back onto the beach if you get knocked out
Not a strong tame, is NOT immune to wild eels or jellyfish and Will be killed by them. More Eels add a pack bonus and looks to widen the electric field. Takes forever to knock things out, but it does stun. Probably knocks off enemy riders in pvp too.
Its about as non-violent as taming a manta, but at least a manta doesnt knock you out.
I want it to be easy to tame and find this
To tame ride a basilisaurus and set it to passive and just feed the electro meet basilisaurus’ are good for getting bio toxin for it since it doesn’t get shocked
They have an oxygen stat. Not all wild eels move at the same speed.
What do you use them for I tamed three but don’t know what to use them for lol
Use a ichy to tame it doesn't agro on the ichy I used this my self it worked wonders ps they eat raw meat or prime meat
They have a pack bonus when in groups of multiple eels that makes their shock attack more powerful. The shock attack will slow the movement and reduce damage of its target. They are 5x faster than jellyfish and will chase you down. Do not underestimate these guys or you will die.
