WATT are these things? They look quite SHOCKING. Now that I’ve had a closer look, they seem a little reVOLTing, and now they’re gathered outside of my OHM.

Was swimming to get silica pearls from cave. My mate was waiting for me as I did not know the exact location of the cave. He was just idle deeper in the water. I was close to surface. I saw them approaching him and tried to warn him but itwas too late.

I parked my ichty near the shore and tried to get his bag. They swam towards me even though i was quite a distance away. I ended up dying. I respawned and quickly flew my lightning wyvern(pre nerf) to where my ichty was only to seeit get killed by the eels.

The eels then proceeded to another players plesi and started shocking it. There were quite a few of the eels. Me and my mate started blasting them with the lightning. Not sure if I was hitting them, I moved closer. Seems it was close enough to get shocked and the wyvern was paralyzed and couldn't move. Luckily I was not alone or it could have been the end for my wyvern.

Why ark we don't need this they can knock you out faster then you can swim they run away recharge and then they come back for more this is almost as dumb as the flyer update

Run just fking run. It will knock you off your mount put you to sleep and eventually kill you.

To the guy complaining about how useless they are tamed, well too bad. Eels have been one of my favorite animals and these little nightmares make me love eels even more.

These guys are the worst my best friend got his angler LIOPLEURODON and 2 icthys got killed by these and now he is quitting😂

Just ride a tame to aggro them and lure them to a raft they will agro to it then just feed them when their heads poo up out of the water

There are two reasons why u kinda will tame this guy..

1.Use PvP to protect ur water dino or base

2.Protect ur water dino..just enable aggressive..it will attack manta and megalodon

If you wanna find a low level of these, go get a basilo cuz its immune to electricity like jellyfishes, let it tank those shocks of electricity ang get close to the eel and feed it biotoxin. Hope it helps :)

I found out that they if level nine might and I mean might need only 2 bio and of course a basilo so just in case bring 10 bio (they tame fast so you only need a few)

Never go in the water. They killed my lvl 279 plesi.

Make sure that u have high topur and be at the top of the sea or your dead they do the same thing as jellyfish taze your mount and u

Kinda like a tazer. But like it knocks you out. Will also make target lose stamina slowing them down

If you sit on the very top of the water on genesis these things won’t aggro on you.

Their stun is very similar to a Cnidaria, but they deal more damage and don’t dismount you.

Ride your basilasor and you will be fine but dont jump

Taming them is actually really simple as long as you don’t accidentally eat the biotoxin. On mobile, it only takes three biotoxin and an icthyosaurus. They don’t aggro on an ichthy, so it’s really only a matter of keeping your oxygen up, watching the eel, and staying awa from predators, as they will very quickly aggro on your new eel and kill it in literal seconds.

If u can’t outrun them, make a gravestone for ur sea mount

Actually,if you get shocked when you stay still in water,you can swim as well,only a little bit slower.If you get shocked while swimming,your swimming speed will not be influenced.Unknowing if this is a bug?I am just wearing ordinary metal armor.
