Tips & Strategies
Why ark we don't need this they can knock you out faster then you can swim they run away recharge and then they come back for more this is almost as dumb as the flyer update
Just passive tame these guys and follow and leave on aggressive there good protesters against predators in ocean cave and the ocean when exploring use basilo to distracted then use bio toxin
On mobile I tamed one by luring it to the surface and getting out of the water then going back when it got hungry and feeding it raw meat. Easy take looks nice and if you take a pack of them you can knock out even a MOSA take as many as you can!!
If you’re trapping them in a trap for other creatures too, be advised they can get through really small holes, even windows.
Non violent my ass my Beelzebufo almost died to like 3 of them chasing me
Build a double sided pen on ocean shelf. Riding an ichy, lure the eel close to the pen. Ride ichy into one side and close door. Once the eel moves into other side, close door trapping it inside. Once it starts poking its head out, feed it till tamed. You may die a few times until you master this technique.
In mobile, they can be tame easily just by feeding while riding itchys, they will not aggro you whatsoever. The problem is taking them back to your home water because all the megalodons around the water will aggro on it.I advice to leave where you tame or bring it into a underwater cave and leave it there, and then request it back once you get to safe water.
Can be kited easily with flippers into a taming pen. Use a Dino gateway for entrance, and door frames for player exit. Stone walls will protect you from shock attack.
There is no escape. Try bringing more water dinos with you for back up. Maybe it will save whale. Just ask bill.
WATT are these things? They look quite SHOCKING. Now that I’ve had a closer look, they seem a little reVOLTing, and now they’re gathered outside of my OHM.
If in a pinch and you just tamed an itchy then try to tame this as a last ditch effort they can be passive tamed and I got attacked by a school? What ever the ploral is and well now I have 3 electric eels
Frogs don't kick you off if they stun it. A tanky frog can withstand about 4 of these at lvl 100
Super easy to tame
Step 1. Find one and get its attention on a mount
Step 2. Back up a bit and jump off your mount
Make sure you don't go to far away otherwise it will go for you, then swim up to it and feed it as it won't attack you but will attack your mount (It's a lot easier then it sounds)
Use a basilo. Isolate the eel you want by killing the others, you can try to tame multiple at once but it gets hard to time the shocks. You can’t not aggro them, but repellant doesn’t work, just let them attack. The eel will shock, then bite a few times as it charges up, flee a bit, then come back and shock again. Wait for the shock to be over, dismount while it’s biting your basilo, feed it biotoxin, then remount the basilo for safety and wait for the next feed. Seems to take about 2 shock cycles for a low level to want the second feed. I was able to do this without taking any damage or torpor on my character.
These guys are the worst my best friend got his angler LIOPLEURODON and 2 icthys got killed by these and now he is quitting😂
I want it to be easy to tame and find this
The best way I've found to tame them is to use a basilosaurus, then lure a single electro away from the group and have it shock you (on the mount). Wait about a second for the shock to end and quickly jump off and spam E (keep biotoxin in the 0 slot). *A large school of these can quickly stun and immbobilze larger mounts and knockout players fairly quickly, so use caution!*
Wear iron or chitin because if you do your immune to the shock
