If you are on mobile and need chitin these guys can easily be killed with help of a itchy (they don't get attacked on mobile for some reason but sometimes it aggressive for like 5 seconds then loses intrest so still don't attack cnidria or electric eel) these guys give nice chitin

Don't be over confident against wild squids with this. It can't dish out damage fast enough to negate the squid's vampire drain, and can end up slowly getting killed if the squid chooses to never let go.

This is literally the fastest metal gathering in the game. Hands down, bar none. Filled 2 industrial forges faster than they could cook

Why did I sleep on Dunks for so long?! These are THE way to get metal, obsidian, and crystal on The Center.

With the new buffs they aren't slow as molasses. Their natural damage reduction paired with a good saddle they're basically the rock golems of the sea

I hope in future there will have more resources at the ocean,means u have more choices to choose your base to build(I’m mobile).

Hey dont mean to be mean but theres are sometimes metal underwater on mobile too! You can find metal in the rivers next to the griffin mountain at about 20 lat and 83 long is the griffin mountain so yes you can use them to get metal but its pretty rare

They also gather wood from fallen trees that are under water

On Ark Mobile Island map, I just tamed a beached Dunk. Where is a good place to farm for Obsidian that’s not inside a underwater cave?

Great for pvp farming I recommend leveling melee only and have a tek suiter follow yiu around while the dunkleo drops resources and tek suiter picks up till black box.

There is a lake near green obliese (in mobile idk about pc/console) there is a ton of metal nods it can be teleported there and used to farm it(how to take the metal till your base is not my problem 😂)

Level up their movement speed to 130% and you can outrun anything.

Without a doubt the best metal dino all you have to do is find some and you'll get 350+ per bite on a 3x server

A level 40 dunkle can beat a (not tlc) 260 megalodon, yikes

This slow-ass Dino is totally worth taming, just have someone else with a raft to put the oil and metal on (their weight is trash)

Great for oil runs, just be carefull if you havent leveled up speed or you won't be able to outrun an Alpha Meg, so bring a Baryonyx as an escort so you can stun-and-run!

It's great at gathering obsidian.
