PS the “teeth” aren’t really teeth; they’re actually bony plates and are a part of its skull.

They can't gather metal on mobile😅

They DO NOT harvest metal on mobile and have a terrible gather rate with 0 weight reduction. Just use a dodic on water. This guy is purely for conbat and hell they incredible at it.

If you are on mobile and need chitin these guys can easily be killed with help of a itchy (they don't get attacked on mobile for some reason but sometimes it aggressive for like 5 seconds then loses intrest so still don't attack cnidria or electric eel) these guys give nice chitin

This is like the Argy of the sea. It can hold an outstanding amount of weight and can do a lot of damage. Only issue I have with it is the speed and stamina so focus your level ups on those. Also, bring a lot of tranqs since it took me 175 arrows for a level 125 (don’t aim for the head).

Are they worth the tame because I have found one 150 and just want to see if it is worth it

Hi, I had a sword that does like 300-400 damage to some Dino’s, but when I used it it only did about 100 damage to this guy. And mine was I think a journeyman sword. If you wanna kill this thing. Get a GOOD sword.

Very hard to get it to chase you, so you’ll have to chase it. An ichthyosaurus is best because it’s fast and you can shoot from the back of it. Though, I would recommend bring a basi for protection from eels, megs, and jellies, just to be safe. The dunky is slow but it can go far.

Also, don’t take your eyes off of it for too long or you’ll never find it again.

Says 113 tranqs for a 55 Dunk but an X-Dunk took about 180...

Don't be over confident against wild squids with this. It can't dish out damage fast enough to negate the squid's vampire drain, and can end up slowly getting killed if the squid chooses to never let go.

This is literally the fastest metal gathering in the game. Hands down, bar none. Filled 2 industrial forges faster than they could cook

So I need to take one of was pretty easy it was a x dunk and all I did was go under water with a crossbow and a kap and if you shoot from long range they swim away so I just kept doing that till it was close to shore and I got on a raft and shot 20-30 shocking tranq darts and it was out cold amazing tame btw

If trying to tame one make like a wyvern trap on the bottom on the ocean and hive someone else shut it. I use a sarco to lead it in the trap. On the center you can make the trap right next to the air bubble to escaped in the Airr away from any attack range and have a keypad to shut it. This will allow you to use any tranq attack

Don't look at how many tranqs it will to knock this out if you're taming a x-dunky, x creatures take less torpor so it will take more tranqs

Take 5 metal behe's and two doors to 84.3 47 on Crystal isles look for the charging station. The rest is up to you.

taming a X dunkleosteus is so much harder than taming a normal one. It takes more arrows to knock it down and you will probably kill it before you can knock it down. And yet you have to deal with those stupid eels and megalodons. Be sure set up a trap and bring your friends to deal with those eels and megalodons. Solo tame is ill advised imo. And do not ride basilisaurus when you try to lure it to the trap, for some reason dunkly is afraid of the basil and it will run away from you. A ichthy is a better choice, dunkly will chase you as well as those eels, thats why a friends is needed.

OR just use command "dotame" to save your time and your dolphine.

Ok so I'm unsure what happened but no matter how many times I shot it with my tranqs it didn't fight at all so an easy tame with a frog????

With the new buffs they aren't slow as molasses. Their natural damage reduction paired with a good saddle they're basically the rock golems of the sea
