On ragnarok in the underwater scar these guys aee crazy good for obsidian and metal and crystal in the area. On 2x harvest i can encumber my 211 dunk in about 4 bites

Found some of these X ones around 55.9, 25.3 on Fjordur not exact that’s just the coast but in the water area there are a few the 150’s I tamed all swam into the rocks easy tames lots of tranqs needed!

Be careful when it because unconscious sometimes it’s hard to tell and I’ve ruined some taming effectiveness by hitting them when they’re down routinely checked with your spyglass

OLD ARK MOBILE didnt had any metal nodes underwater. NEW ARK MOBILE is the same as ASE it have everything so u can harvest oil and metal underwater

Crystal yes oh my word. In the island just outside the brute cave. I went there with my dunky and came away with over 6k crystal in 5 min on 1 times gathering on official server

If your on ark mobile grab a crossbow (a good one) a good underwater tame and the scuba set so you don't drown.i finnaly tamed a plesi with this method and now it's time for taming the dunki (I am coming armoured shark)

Dunkleos are like aquatic dire bears. Get too close to it and it will attack you. However they can be outswimmed by everyting in the ocean.

You can find metal stones in underwater caves, so next time you go into the „hard underwater cave“ on The Island, bring 1-2 of these. Couldn’t find metal rocks outside of caves by now.

One oil run with my newly tamed 198 dunky allowed me to make enough gasoline to last me my entire single player play-through. I probably have about 8,000-10,000 total now. A must-have for all your gasoline needs.

-They take a LOT of tranq arrows, even with my 300% Ascendant Crossbow.

-Careful if using a crossbow to knock out. I almost killed a 120 trying to tame it. (Use a few harpoon bolts to lower the odds this happening, as they do less damage)

-Be ready for a long fight, and don’t forget to kill all the enemies in a large area so they don’t bother you. (Dunkies will retreat as soon as you start shooting, rarely turning around to bite.)

-I just swam after mine with good speed and flippers, but you may need to use a mount that allows firing while you ride after it.

-Try not to let it retreat too far, use the world border to your advantage.

They are neutral when solo. However, they will agro when in groups of 3 or more.

best way is to find one near the beaches on the southern area of Crystal Isles. they will be spawned there.. and stuck for some reason. just have a long neck and around 50 darts

Despite being called RARE finds there actually relatively easy to find and if by chance one catches you unaware and you flee I wouldn’t worry cause your nan could outrace one

If you dont have a good crossbow, prepare to be in the ocean all day, because this thing have a decent damage reduction but have the torpor of a Mosa. Easy tame but absolutely tedious

-Tame one of these armored Bois

-put it in a cryo pod

-complete the lower south cave

-clear the cave from every creature

-deploy the cryo pod with this boi in the water zones in the cave

-destroy every rock in the water zones with the main attack of this creature

And finally, yow you will have tons of stone, metal and obsidian!!!!

To the guy who said his journeyman sword done 300-400 dmg but only 100 to the dunkle, the sword damage differs depending on where you hit and how armoured the creature you are attacking is.

on 5x taming server, spot a lvl 25 x-dunkleoteus, set up a trap with 24 stone pillar and 9 stone ceiling, spent 10 minutes to lure it into the trap. then pull out my 154% crossbow, sending 100+ tranq arrows....and kill it. yet sacrificing my lvl 133 dolphin to the eels and megalodon😑

Alright so if you know where the green pillar is go to the right side right into the water keep going deeper until you find a lot of rocks (there’s a lot of rocks there so if you can’t find rocks there meaning you’re in the wrong spot or something) it’s a little hard to search that spot because of the rock but there are a lot of didn’t things like eels and dunkleosteus and those water things that you can build a base well I found some anyway be on a ichthy
