ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion
Tips & Strategies
They may seem calm, and won't be dangerous most of the time, but don't be fooled: They boast descent damage and godlike resistance, think of them as Rock Elementals of the sea, exchanging HP for numbers.
Just like elementals, they have a small aggro range, very slow movement speed and not the highest of the DPS. But if you get cornered, be ready to suffer a slow death by their stone-crushing jaws.
More Dunkleosteus Encountering Tips
Dunkleosteus (meaning โDunkleโs Boneโ) in real life had the fastest bite of ANY animal in history, able open AND close its mouth in 1/50 OF A SECOND!! This causes water to be pulled in so quickly, itโs mouth then acted as a split-second vacuum, instantly pulling its prey into its mouth.
Oh, and it ate sharks during its time (late Devonian Period) since sharks werenโt as apex or as developed (looking more like eels, ie. the Cladasolache).
Steelslaughter here,
Iโve made the comment on this having the fastest bite of all time, and I thank you for correcting me with this information. I actually never heard about this ant, so major thanks for this break in the case. And sorry about what I said before with this creature.
The dossier says its docile, but no, It isn't run away and avoid they can hit like a SUBMARINE and tank ANOTHER, Very agressive
I've been searching for it for awhile now not sure if it's still there or the location is shared with another Dino, anyone seen them in awhile?
The guy who was correcting the guy who said dunkle had the fastest bite, what if he is referring to the most fastest prehistoric creatures bite, and were not here to start a argument cause of a ant
Whoever said this thing is neutral was wrong... very wrong.
