Some one have the answer to this help me. I went to two under water caves and attempted to tame animals. This large under water cave was attached to an above ground crystal cave. Glowing orange and had Bats,snails,acorpions etc. The underwater had sea animals. All the kinds that are hard to find Mozasaurs,Lepluradons,the scary squid. They were all greatly larger than normal and it wouldnt let me tame. Thwy would go unconscience no tame. Food correct in inventory just nothing. Gps 45.5,88.6 Let me know would love to bring home something. Ps bring a pack of Sharks its crazy hard in there.

Very easy to tame if you know what your doing. First tame an Ichthyosaur. Then grab a crossbow and some tranq arrows and find one and knock it out. It is not be able to attack if you are on the Ichthy. As you are taming it, be sure to remain on the Ichthy unless feeding narcs, so other creature donβt hurt you.
Anyone else surprised that their not hostile
These are one of the few dinos that take less damage/topour from head shots. Aim for the body.
Bring more tranq arrows then you think! Mine took 100 at close range, on the body, at LEVEL 3.

When it says 1.7% chance of death. It means it's going to die.
How do you tranq one I'm on mobile and it ma re me brake my crossbows twice
A easy tame but be sure to bring lots of tranq arrows it took me 79
Found one. Taming with raw fish. For some reason, though, it ran away from me on the first hit.
Took me over 150 tranqarrows with a 400% crossbow to ko an X-Dunkleo... what a pain lol
If your on ark mobile grab a crossbow (a good one) a good underwater tame and the scuba set so you don't drown.i finnaly tamed a plesi with this method and now it's time for taming the dunki (I am coming armoured shark)
