These aren’t only in dungeons, they are also found in the south cave AND lava cave! Trust me, I’ve seen them in there. The ones in caves usually want spoiled meat, but I’ve done passive tames and if it says, for example, (on a diplo) “feed azulberry to tame” you don’t have to. You can give it kibble instead. So I guess you can give dung beetles poo if they want spoiled meat. Raw meat also works to tame them. Oh, and have yourselves a good day with beetles! (Sorry it was long.)

They unessesarily agro on you if you touch them. I don't even know why.....

Keep them in a wooden cage when set on wander so they don't actually wander off.

Enable wandering & then have it follow a nearby Dino on highest distance. It will stay put & produce fertilizer & oil.

Put the beetle in your greenhouse and shut the door. Fill it with doody and fertilizer is right there for your plants at all times.

If you (like me) use the poo oil from these to make the jerky you (like me) eat, you (like me) may be slightly above average.

Put all stats into weight=more feces will fit in his inventory allowing more fertilizer and oil produce while offline! Place on wander and recommend putting him in a cage!

I saw around 3-4in the cave containing the artefact of the clever. Just clear out the cave with wolf/saber, tame the beetles. Have a friend with a quetz outside with a base with enough cages for each beetle. This can also be done with Arventagis with riders. Pick up beetles. Only problem is that u need around 6 people this way and I don’t think that arventagis can pick up dung beetles am checking this after.- also either have fridges or wood fridges for the dung on quetz so it doesn’t spoil

Build a cage and put it in the cage in wonder. Then fill with sh** and live happily ever after.

TIPP: (EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW)

1) They spawn inside the LOWER SOUTH CAVE and you can easily tame them up PASSIB using ROTTEN FLESH

2) If you put POOP inside their Inventory and let them WALK they will produce FRETILIZER and OIL after a period of time

3) I would recommend to JUST LVL UP THEIR WEIGHT so they can CARRY MORE POOP and PRODUCE more FERTILIZER and OIL

4) Build a small enclosure (or a box) for them to walk around inside it and also place a feeding trough filled with rotten flesh if you want

5) THEY CAN CLIMB OVER FENCES

In the desert on crystal isles. Tame them by using a grappling hook then get to a safe spot and load them up with rotten meat. I got four of them doing this!! Ringo, Paul, John and George!!

Found in blue on abberation. They are also on the natural tamp that leads down to it if you want to go there.

After clearing out the cave with a dire wolf, tame the dung beetle, pick it up and ride out on your wolf for a safe journey back with it.

If u cryo a dino and throw it out they will produce feces everytime

Levels don't really matter with these, but aim for higher levels because you'll need all the weight you can get on these things to work even better.
