Set it on wander, take an Argentavis, pick up the Doedic and drop it on the rock. Once it swings, pick it up and drop it on another. This makes up for the movement speed.

They do gather obsidian once again. Get as much metal as obsidian from each node. Its awesome.

The Doedicurus is one of the best utility dinos in Ark, and probably the best stone gathering dino available. The Doed can harvest stone from rock and metal nodes. While Doed’s don’t lay eggs, they are breedable. The Doed’s size makes it easy to store and it can be carried in the talons of Quetzals and Wyverns. If you’re planning to build in stone, the Doed is an essential addition to your dino collection!

Just put it on wander and let it do the work for you

This animal is a must have, and by the way, when it carries stone, 100 of it that it has in its inventory is only 15.0 pounds

Melee damage increase the number of stone you gather ... So pump weight et melee damage

Another tip : Put the doedicurus on a quetzal platform with ramp and weight is not a problem anymore ( except for the quetz )

Absolutely adorable, and a must have little cutie. But they have a hidden use...If you go up to a pile of rock, LMB on it and it will gather stone like there's no tomorrow!!! Also RMB to roll around. Much faster than plodding, but you can't steer XD

Great for harvesting a large amount of stone, just level up its weight

Holy butts, this thing is a beast at getting sand on Scorched Earf. Definitely a must-have

After capturing up grade it's health weight and very important it's oxygen the oxygen will make it freaky fast in the water great for transport better then the fish

These dudes are amazing at getting element dust on extinction just level up weight and damage and take it around and destroys the street lights and you'll get around 500-1k element dust from them each

Put them near a rock and they will gather stone by themselves

I’m so glade this helped me because it is one of the best dinos to get stone and metal!

They can get a small amount of crystal from the green gem nodes on abberation. Useful for when you need crystal but haven't got an anky yet.

Tip: get this guy along with with an argentavis. For argentavis put every skill point into stamina and weight, for Doed go stamina melee and a bit of weight. The point is if doed gets encumbered you can load off to argent and get a bit more stone. Then pick up doed with your eagle and go back to base

I build a home for it bc it was amazing then I was all the people saying put it on wandering near stone so I did it worked but I think it also work at your base

Argy plus doed = inf ele in extinction

This is the best creature for getting stone. Y can't it break stone structures

In mobile, can only get obsidian when full
