These things are actually easy to tame! First, Let's pack some things.

- Large bear traps (If possible)

-Tranq arrows (Bring at least 20 or more, You can replace arrows with darts or shocking darts)

-Narotics or biotoxins (Bring 50 or more of them)

-Taming foods (Preferred kibble is Dilophosaurus kibble or Regular Kibble. If using berries bring at least 100 if not using sooting balm, Recommended with sooting balm to tame.)

-Argentavis with saddle (Optional)

Taming without Argy (Argentavis):

First, find one of these animals.

Then place the large bear trap down and get it to aggro on you.

After it gets trapped, shoot the head, don't shoot the body because it has a protective layer of shell that could lead to many tranq arrows wasted.

After it's knock out, Give it its preferred kibbles or berries,Using sooting balm can decrease the time needed to tame. Remember to keep an eye on its torpor, Feed narotics or biotoxins if necessary and protect it while it's being tamed.

Wait for a while, then you'll get one of these! Ride it if you have the saddle, or just bring it base and goodluck keeping it safe on the way to your base!

Taming with Argy:

First, build a taming pen with a material which doedicurus can't damage.

Then, Find one of them and pick them up with your argy and fly back to your taming pen and drop it.

Then, Shoot its heady and not the body like I've mentioned before.

When it's knocked out, Feed it its preferred kibble or berries, sooting balm is recommended like I've mentioned.

Wait for a while, You'll get it soon. Remember to keep an eye on its torpor too and feed it narotics or biotoxins if necessary! Bring it to your base with your argy if you want.

Space out the tranq arrows so it doesn’t ball up I say every 5 seconds blow up for noobs

If you take a snow owl you can heal it when it balls up. Once it's health is up it will come out of the ball and you can continue to tranquilize it.

Have a mate pick it up with an Argy then as they hover above you you can shoot it in the underside and knock it out much quicker. Bring Regular Kibble or it's a SLOW tame!

They are slow so they are an easy tame

I see many new players struggling with taming one… those who lead to shore or look for a safe place…

A way better idea for starters is go level up by gathering explorer notes and tame a petra.

Then go to redwood tame a argy

Use the argy to look for a DEOD take it to your base then knock out and tame…

Yes taming takes too long with no kipple but taming at your base is way better and faster…

Don’t have more arrows? Your base is there and just make extra arrows if you run out

Hello, this is my second tip after my argy tip, im gonna tell you how to easily tame it and what it was used for,

TAMING:

First you just need to prepare a weapon and the ammo and that was:

1. U can use an bow or crossbow with an Tranq Arrow for knocking it out

2. U can use an riffle with the ammo of Tranq dart

Or 3. U can just use a slingshot with rock as an ammo

After that you need to prepare a food and the food was berries or you can use kibble, and don't forget the narcotic/biotoxin for keep it unconcious

And you just need to find one

And after you find 1 just knock it out and feed it ( i recommended to hit it on head not on his Shell ) and after that just keep looking the unconcious bar if it reduce feed it with biotoxin or narcotic to keep it unconcious

And after it's tamed, tadaaaa you have an stone collector, this Dino is can used to get much of stone

Insane tame for collecting stone, if you have a quetz just drop it into taming pen but mind out how many tranqs you use as it will go in to a ball if it takes to much damage

Just space out your shots by a few seconds and make sure it doesn’t take too much damage

Build some kind of structure in the volcano with four foundations and eight walls pick it up with a bird and drop it in the tame to your heats content I recommend a high level Horse.

Build a 3x3 platform, then build a metal/stone hatchframes on top and put a ramp leading up to them. Build walls up top and lure Doe onto top level. Go below and shoot underside through hatchframes with tranq darts, done

These creatures are easy to tame if u got argie and taming pen

today 05/17/2022 I tested it in the creative and the torpor rises 708 both in the head and in the Shell, there is no headshot difference

Actually you can knock them up even balled up with a equus(horse)(right click) tried it just know

When taming and it balls up, it will unball when it poops, but will still have the 90% damage reduction until it starts moving again. Just be patient and wait for it to move, it is not glitches.

Always use an Argy to drop into a 4x4 stone doorframe pen for taming.

Use an owl to hunt and tame. Once it goes into a ball, heal it! The ball is a mechanic for damage mitigation. Once out of the ball, keep peppering your tranqs.
