Leave it on wander by your base with a tracker it will collet stone

A lot of people are saying dont use a crossbow, I tamed a 120 with a crossbow just fine. Just make sure you don't overshoot it and let the corporate build up in between shots.

Do not shoot it in the tail! I dropped it in my taming pen and was about 5 shots in when I realized it doesn't register at ALL.

Where to find them:

In ark mobile Dodecirus can be found in large numbers at the redwood forests at the top left of the map or the mountains.

Taming details:

Dodecirus are knockout tames and they eat berries

Problems:

They have armour on the top where they take less torpor so shoot their underside and if you damage it to much it will curl into a ball and it will be hard to knock them out and if you hit a Dodecirus all nearby Dodecirus will attack you

Advantages:

Dodecirus are slow so you dont need a mount to outrun them and you wont need a trap because it might not catch up to you.

Abilities when tamed:

Dodecirus will turn into a ball and roll really fast also they can destroy rocks,bushes and trees and gather their resources and they have a weight reduction on stone abd the saddle is unlocked at level 34 and made in the smithy.

Simple, aim for the head and then feed berries or whatever you are using but make sure to keep track of the torpor because it drops fast but not as fast as people say

It'll poop 12 times before you can even finish 1 rock...

When your in the south and your looking for one just start going north and light one up with traqs and I recommend using crops or dilo kibble or for PC reg kibble they level up kinda fast

Don't bother putting in the speed when you can roll it

You can fit so much stone in this bad boy *slaps roof of Dino

You can trap them with stone fence supports, you should shoot them in the head not the shell its shell only takes 50% of the torpor from each shot. It took me 4 shots into its head to K’O it with a rifle and tranq darts.

Just grab it with an argy and have your friend shoot it while in your claws.. stops it from rolling up, easy ko.

So ur telling me wildcard that this can damage wood builds but harvests stone we player’s got arked again

Love these creatures! I got an ankylo as my first utility animal thinking it would get me a lot of stone, but this is guy is the way to go. I just did a run for stone on my island and got over 1,000 stone just from a few river rocks. And they were small. They aren’t bad at swimming either and I love the feature of the rolling! So cool

These things are actually easy to tame! First, Let's pack some things.

- Large bear traps (If possible)

-Tranq arrows (Bring at least 20 or more, You can replace arrows with darts or shocking darts)

-Narotics or biotoxins (Bring 50 or more of them)

-Taming foods (Preferred kibble is Dilophosaurus kibble or Regular Kibble. If using berries bring at least 100 if not using sooting balm, Recommended with sooting balm to tame.)

-Argentavis with saddle (Optional)

Taming without Argy (Argentavis):

First, find one of these animals.

Then place the large bear trap down and get it to aggro on you.

After it gets trapped, shoot the head, don't shoot the body because it has a protective layer of shell that could lead to many tranq arrows wasted.

After it's knock out, Give it its preferred kibbles or berries,Using sooting balm can decrease the time needed to tame. Remember to keep an eye on its torpor, Feed narotics or biotoxins if necessary and protect it while it's being tamed.

Wait for a while, then you'll get one of these! Ride it if you have the saddle, or just bring it base and goodluck keeping it safe on the way to your base!

Taming with Argy:

First, build a taming pen with a material which doedicurus can't damage.

Then, Find one of them and pick them up with your argy and fly back to your taming pen and drop it.

Then, Shoot its heady and not the body like I've mentioned before.

When it's knocked out, Feed it its preferred kibble or berries, sooting balm is recommended like I've mentioned.

Wait for a while, You'll get it soon. Remember to keep an eye on its torpor too and feed it narotics or biotoxins if necessary! Bring it to your base with your argy if you want.

Torpor rate actually slower than most now

I lost my 178 tranq arrows, 2 crossbows, 3 longbows due to a glitch in this thing

Doeds are pretty tanky dinos. Make sure to bring WAY more darts or tranq arrows then Dododex suggests. Also run in circles with it since it's not fast enough to catch-up to you.

Space out the tranq arrows so it doesn’t ball up I say every 5 seconds blow up for noobs
