When I get some stone with this guy it’s not a stone run it’s a stone roll

There is a taming glitch on mobile where if you leave it while taming, it will despawn, up so others see this.

You can knock one out with a boomerang just throw it at its head and walk backward be careful not to run into anything

Do not tranq the shell it does WAY less torpidity than shooting its head or underside. Up to spread the news.

Easy tame, just shoot in the face with tranq arrows and when it curls in a ball shoot it’s side, either build a 2x2 fence around it while it’s unconscious, or bring your hunting pack with you for protection.

They’re hard to find, but I staked one out with my pteradon at a reasonably close distance from my base, she was chilling on the beach but a couple raptors were hanging around keeping her hostage in a little ball.

I went back, got my hunting crew (2 therizinos, 1 Carno, and 11 dilos) absolutely DEMOLISHED multiple therizinos, barys, spinos, and countless dilos/ raptors on the way, made it to the little doed, tranqed her, and now I have myself a mini stone farmer:)

These Dino are really helpful but there a pain in the butt to tame

Shoot it in the face, shooting it in the shell wont do very much torpor and would just be a waste. Also keep in mind that if you do too much damage it will ball up, not allowing you to tame it.

When trying to tame with regular/primitive bow or rifle it will probably go into a ball. Be patient and let it unroll out of the ball, let it take few steps then continue to shoot it in the head. Sure it take a long time and you need patience but it'll be worth it in the end. Or do it the easy way and have tribemate grab it with an argy and you shoot it in the belly.

If you do not have a flyer and tame on foot far warning....these guys DO NOT walk in a straight line. Took ages to get home lol

I spent about 56 tranq darts and around 100 tranq arrows to knock out a level 140. Mainly because a lot of the darts and arrows were not registered as hits. I found the best place to aim at was the head I wouldn't waste my darts trying to hit the tail from above as they rarely registered. I had it trapped in a pit style trap so I was above it shooting down.

Use a good bow with toxic ant arrows for a lvl 450 it 40 arrows

If it is in ball mode, hit it in the face really low and it will go normal

Even if the health is low after it becomes unconscious, the ‘Taming Effectiveness’ timer is not nerfed or affected. I just tamed a 150 Doed on an ARKpocalypse server and it had 1/4 health at the start of taming. I fed it crops and I got the max bonus the chart promised!

Untameable without a scorpion... Or anything that deals periodical torpor.

So I’m lvl 30 on my mobile ark server and i have no tames and just a slingshot the max for my server is 200 so I ko-ed about a 1-10 and I was making a stone base and collecting stone with a stone hatchet I got one of these and it accelerated the stone collection process probably 10x so get one of these ASAP cuz for pvp they are NEEDED (my server is Preadator II medium pvp)

App says 29 shots, did well over 100. Make sure to bring way too many arrows.

The obsidian gathering on the doedic is broken it will not gather obsidian.

If your taming a herbavor use stimberries at first so it drops hunger but does not decreases torpor and then put in the food to do a quick starve tame
