In PvE it is best to lead one to a tame boat or pin because they are usually surrounded by dangerous Dino's.

I found that the best bet to take one down and tame is to run around in a 8 foot circle continuously shooting it in its feet and or head with a dart gun. Super easy and fast. By the end it'll ball up and you can then focus its under shell by aiming your shots. Narcotics are a must and so is dilo kibble.

Doesn't collect obsidian like it says. Gets a lot of stone from obsidian rocks tho

Be careful on tranq dart/arrow usage, aim for the underbelly for maximum torpor effect. When it rolls up into a ball, attempt to shoot the underbelly again, and again, and again, so on. Found near Redwoods (Island) and great for obtaining rocks, and only rocks. Essential for constructing stone structures.

Get more kibble than needed... need to fix this asap

Can you also add bacon from prim +? I play prim and its nice

Most fun I've had on a dino to date. Lvl up emote is hilarious. Roll gives fast movement to get around or away

Worth every painful second of taming lol gathers insane amounts of stone. Bring a pack Dino though. Their weight is crap

This Dino doesn't gather obsidian so use ankylosaurus

On PS4 the Doedicurus will NOT collect obsidian, it will only gather stone from obsidian nodes.

Watch out, the Doedicurus does not collect Obsidian anymore

Air for legs and face. Make sure to wait 4 to 5 seconds between shots. After done taming make sure to remove any left over kibble. Or it will eat it all quick to recover health.

Great tame to do

Very easy to care for and the stone collection is amazing so worth waiting the take time for :)

This cute ameridilo is the king of collecting obisidan and stone works good with the anklyo for getting sparkpowder

Rain it on stim berries at first lvl 55 290 stun berries the force feed it 400 narco berries this triples the torp time now put 300 majo berries in and 400 stim go and do what ever you want and this will time it's self with no effort I switched off and logged on the next day and it was taimed

The weight and melee damage are a problem, but it overall is a good Dino.

Doedic do not farm obsidian anymore.

These tame incredibly fast with barley. Try it out.

There seems to be a bug with the regular kibble for these guys, so be careful! They gain 0.2% per kibble even though the wiki and dodorex says they eat regular kibble. I'm not sure if this effects non primitive plus servers, but it's definitely not fixed as of yet. Keep your kibble until this is fixed!
