If they roll up use an owl to heal them so they unroll.

Use a frog to knock it out. Don't waste tranq supplies!

Make sure the frogs melee isn't to buffed up, as it can kill the low-mid level doeds

Doeds collect gems on abberation when they are being carried.

just know to let it starve and keep it sleeping bring at least 200 narcotics. took me 3 ark days and is stil starving out but when it tames its gonna be worth it

To tame solo and at a relatively low level, just figure out how many arrows you need and walk backwards whilst shooting it’s head. If it runs, run in front and fire. Easy!

If you want to knock one out before they curl into a ball then find one at full health and only shoot at it's exposed belly after it swings it's tail.

When it’s in a ball hit it with a hatchet it’ll soon. Getup

Shoot it in the head and not the shell with traq darts. It will knock out quicker.

If you only have tranq arrows hit em a few times in the head and wait then a few more if he starts running keep shooting until he's knocked out

Drayo’s Cove. Relatively easy place to tame these guys that’s raft accessible.

Took me over 50 tranq darts with a journeyman longneck rifle and almost used all of my mastercraft crossbow for a level 140

If you're using Tranq arrows to tame one, be sure to carry a few hundred. It took 356 to knock out a lvl 135 while not curled up.

Never Use Arrows to knock it out, it will take a hour just to knock out even in a trap.

Lvl 85 took way more to ko then it says. Roughly 100 trang arrows out a jm xbow and 59 darts from a app longneck... timers where accurate otherwise.

I have no real tip.. My doe poops every 2 tail swings.. Cant even get a whole rock down because he keeps pooping lol..soo much poop

Apparently, there is a bug that Doedics can't collect obsidian

Ignore the starve time and wait until it's around 200/300 then feed. More efficient way and the tame bare goes straight up. Hour and a half less than indicated. Swift_Riddla ps4

Dowdicuris is extremely useful and should be tamed as fast as possible.to anyone afraid of how long it takes to tame,the time estimate thing for doedicuris is quite off.i have a lvl 50 unconscious,and Dododex said about an hour and a half to tame,however,it has been about 10 minutes,and it is 20% done taming,so it should really be like 50 minutes.while thats not to much better,it takes way less time than Dododex says.amazing at getting stone.Highly recommended

I tamed one of these stone grinders with less than 20 tranq arrows, and i didn’t even shoot it in the head. A lot of comments say use darts, so is this wrong?? ( Recomend taming one anyway).
