If you make it aggro on you,tranq it and walk backwards it can't hit you tamed a lvl 90 event gren doed this way 😊

I would use Tranq darts because if you use arrows they do to much damage to fast and they will curl up into a ball

Very essential for new players up to alpha, definantely worth the time.

All you need is a bow and tranq arrows simply shoot it until it balls up, wait for it to unball, and repeat until knocked out

Grab with Argy go into safe place (not surrounded by aggressive mobs or your other tame) basically just let your argy grab onto them and you go down and shot its underside hope it helps

For everyone who is worried about the doe rolling up in a ball I reccomend using an argy to pick it up and have s tribe mate use tranq arrows to knock it out. Rly good early game tame strongly suggested.

You can use tranq arrows. It needs to be high health because if it isn't it will roll up in a ball and you won't be able to tame it.

I was easily ablento knock this out with a horse I tamed with a few points thrown into damage. I think it took about 14 kicks :D

Tranq in the face, don't wait too long between shots or he balls up and stays like that for a really long time. Boost weight and melee damage

If you don't have them darts and all u got is a bow and tranq arrows, I suggest using a higher grade bow or crossbow if u can if u can't get the tranq darts

I’m taming one rn. So I usin a scorp(y’all may think it’s trash but it can knock shît out and like all tamed bugs it will not make creatures Aggro except of course Titans(not sneks) and Alphas possibly gigas.) and I came down to where it was at 16/1020 hp and I was mid attack about to kill it when the hit was too far and it didn’t hit and then I tried again and it got knocked out and hit failed lol.

When it rolls up crouch and then shoot its belly

If you are taming it with friends, all shoot at the same time so you can do as much torpor as you can before it rolls up because when it does it only takes 10% torpor

When trying to knock it out, use an owl to freeze heal it and it will come out of its shell. This makes knocking it out so much faster and easier.

its the worst to tame with just a crossbow and some tranq arrows

On Prim Plus you can give them fresh Barely instead of Kibble (last time I tired 3-24-2019)

Can shoot anywhere for KO underbelly and head have no multiplier and shell doesnt half torpor
