Chapter 16
Fuzzball was becoming dizzier as Eclipse swim through the open water of the cool ocean. “Mmmm! Mmm!” Fuzzball tried to say something but he couldn’t or else he’ll drown. Eclipse understood what Fuzzball was trying to say and went up to the surface. “HAW HAW!” Panted Fuzzball. “Why are you still swimming even though we’re far away from the hunter or the Rockdrakes?” Fuzzball asked as he got air. “Well for faster travel?” Eclipse meekly said as he swam to the shore with Fuzzball on his back. As the duos approached the sandy shore, Fuzzball saw something…unusual. There was something furry on the shore squawking and running around with other furry things. “Uh Eclipse, what’s that?” Fuzzball asked, still paying attention to the furry things. “Ah, you must never seen those things before I suppose. Probably because they don’t live in the snow biome. Those things my friends. Are weak little Dodos.” Eclipse replied with triumph. “SQUAWK SQWAUKEDY SQUAWK.” Shouted the Dodos as soon Eclipse and Fuzzball was on shore. “It’s feels good to touch ground.” Fuzzball happily said as he rolled in the warm hot sand. “FORMATION!” Shouted one of the Dodos. “Is it me or are they coming closer?” Eclipse said. Fuzzball looked to his side and saw the Dodos rapidly becoming bigger. “Yep they’re coming!” Fuzzball replied. “NO NEED TO uh HARM US. WE ARE PEACEFUL DODOS.” Shouted the Dodo that was in front of all the Dodos. The group made it seem like a furry army.
“At least there’s no too much Dodos.” Whispered Eclipse. Fuzzball couldn’t help but approach the Dodos. “Who are you guys?” Fuzzball asked. He could hear Eclipse groan with disappointment behind him. “We are the NinjaDos! We are very strong. We could do the Dodo feather hit!” Replied one of the Dodo. “It always sounded dumb.” One cried out. “We should name us the Superfeathers! Or superfurries.” Another one cried out. “QUIET!” Shouted the “leader” Dodo that Fuzzball thought he was. “I’m Honeydrop. And there’s about 5 of us,including me.” Said Honeydrop. “He should be named the bossy one.” Mocked one. “He’s mocker, and you know why.” Honeydrop said as he rolled his eyes. “I’m sneaky.” Sneaky said. “I’m chunk.” The very fat Dodo said. “And I’m Bob.” Said the smallest Dodo. “Why are you guys out here?” Asked Honeydrop.
“We are an explorer out in the ocean blue.” Replied Exclipse as he walked to the Dodos. “Like Crumbister Conkist?” Asked Sneaky. “I don’t know what that is but yes.” Lied Eclipse. Fuzzball gives Eclipse a ‘really?’ Look. “You shall come to our camp, we are on an important mission.” Said Honeydrop as he turned around and started to waddle away with the others. “Also Dodos are slow.” Eclipse said as the Dodos were still very close to them. “Well let’s follow them.” Fuzzball said as he walked alongside the Dodos. He was surprised to know they were about the same size as him.
Soon the group was at a camp that was a normal camp. To Fuzzball though. “This is tiny, like a tiny camp!” Eclipse groaned. “Seems fine to me.” Fuzzball said as he looked around the camp. There was 2
3 hide tent, a small campfire in the middle and some tiny chairs that Fuzzball was able to sit. “This feels like home!” Fuzzball said as he went inside a tent. “SUPPERTIME.” Shouted Bob as he took out the pot on top of the fire. “Oh it’s already sunset.” Eclipse said as he looked out to the sky. Everybody sat down in the chairs except Eclipse. “Vegetable stew?” Bob offered Eclipse. “Uh no thank you.” He replied with disgust. “What’s wrong? Don’t like to eat the greens? No wonder you look unhealthy.” Mocked Mockster. “Grrr.” Eclipse snarled. “Don’t worry, you're get used to him.” Said sneaky as he ate his stew. “Say, what brings you guys here?” Honeydrop asked. “Like we sai-“ but before Eclipse could lie about the “Explorers” things Fuzzball admitted the truth. “We are escaping the Rockdrakes.” Fuzzball replied. “Ah the Rockdrakes. Who are those?”Fuzzball asked. Soon the entire camp was whispering with wonder. Eclipse got up and looked at Fuzzball. “Uh excuse us, I need to talk to Fuzzball.” Eclipse asked. “Yes sure.” Granted Honeydrop. Fuzzball followed Eclipse to a small cave not too far away from the camp. “What are you doing! We are suppose to find the tails and rescue Wyvrn! Not stay with those peanut heads.” Shouted Eclipse. “Wait. MY FAMILY!” Panicked Fuzzball. He was so caught up about what happened that he forgot about his family.
“See? We gotta go.” Eclipse said. “But the cure for the corrupted…” Fuzzball started. “What corrupted? And what cure?” Asked Eclipse. “There’s a virus in the Redwoods that could spread around the world. I need to find a cure.” Fuzzball replied. “Ah that corrupted! The one that the C.A.I.F.T created?” Eclipse said. “Wait you know?” Fuzzball was puzzled.
“Oh Fuzzball. The corrupted was a distraction. It isn’t real.

Chapter fifteen.
James can home with a smile on his face.….until he opened the door. His father was waiting for him. James’ father, Edward was a tall muscular man with dark brown hair and dark stormy blue eyes. He frowned at his son who was late. James hung his head. “Hello father.” James said. “You are late.” Edward scolded. James sighed. “I’m sorry and it won’t happen again…”
“No it won’t! You know why? Because you are grounded!” Edward said. James head shot up. “What! What was I, ten minutes late? Five? It’s not fair-” Edward cut him off. “Don’t tell ME what is fair! One day you and your brother WILL be king! You need to learn to be on time and stop being so irresponsible!” Edward shouted. James glared at him. “Well you know what?! Maybe, maybe I DON’T want to be king!” James exclaimed. He pushed past his father and stormed past his mother. “Please honey, have some dinner.” Sophia began but James interrupted her. “No thank you mother. I’m to much of a disgrace to be at the table.” James said. He stomped upstairs and slammed his bedroom and shut. *BANG!* Sophia put a hand on her husband’s shoulder. “Honey, why do you have to be so hard on him. He’s just a teenager.” Sophia said. She’d always had a sweet spot for her irresponsible, immature son. Edward sighed. “We need to teach our sons Sophia. One of the is meek..” He motioned to Tom. “And the other is the most irresponsible. He doesn’t even think before he acts!” Edward said. Sophia put a hand on her husband’s face. “Don’t worry. They’ll be okay honey. They’re not kings yet.” Jenny raised her hand. “Um mom? Can I be excused? I finished my food.” Jenny said. Sophia nodded. Jenny pushed back her chair, jumped out of it, then headed upstairs. She stopped at Tom and James’ door.
James lay in his bunk with his head buried in his pillow. Small tears dripped down his nose. Why don’t father understand? James wasn’t like him. He didn’t want to be king, he just wanted to be…normal. *Knock, knock*. Someone knocked at James’ door. “Don’t come in unless you’re Tom.” James said angrily. “It’s me.” A person said in Tom’s voice. The door opened then closed. James felt the person walk up behind him. “You ok James?” The person asked. James rolled over to face the person. Sure, it looked like Tom and sounded like Tom but the person acted different than Tom. Slowly “Tom” began to shrink slowly until he was as short as a twelve year old. “Tom’s” hair lengthened and turned red and his eyes turned a brighter green. His face and body shaped into that of a girl’s. It was Jenny. She smiled at him ,then placed a small hand on his face. “Are you okay James?” Jenny asked. A tear dripped slowly down his cheek but she wiped it away. “It’s okay James. Daddy doesn’t mean to be mean he just wants us to…act like grownups.” James smiled at his sister. “You’re very wise Jenny. You should be queen.” James said. Jenny blushed. “It’ll be okay. Good night James.” She hugged him, then bounded off to her room.

Protectors of Pandora
Chapter 18 ~Christmas special~
The birds and the wolves were asleep in the den, when they heard a sound, it was sleigh bells, they could hear them clearly even though they were underground, “what’s that sound?” Ping pondered, “it couldn’t be could it?” George said, then they heard another sound, “Keym! Ko Ho.” It sounded like, “is that a raptor saying ho?” Ron said puzzled, “ITS RAPTOR CLAUSE!” The wolves said in unison, “who’s raptor claws?” Ping asked still confused. “Not claws, clause, he’s a.. well I don’t know exactly what he is.. he’s a raptor who comes once a year and delivers gifts to everyone.” Sir Charles said. “Even the Ice queen and her flunkies?” Ron asked. “No if your naughty you get coal, I hope they get crushed by it.” Richard said. “Come on let’s go!” George said enthusiastically, they ran outside and looked up in the air were they saw a bright red sleigh being pulled by odd megoloceruses, The sky was beautiful as it often was at night, with the aurora borealis overhead, and then, they noticed a few dots slowly falling out of the sleigh, as they got closer they noticed they were little wrapped boxes, they got close enough to were the group could almost grab them, then a green blur dove overhead and snatched all of the gifts, then ran into the bushes. “Wha- who- HEY!” Ron said, “GET HIM!!” Sir Charles yelled.
The Ice queen and her minions were in their stronghold, nobody was happy, they knew they would get nothing but coal in their gifts, but what they were getting this year was not what anyone expected.
The group ran after the blur angrily chasing the fiend who stole their gifts, the creature got tired and stopped, which was a mistake because it then got dog-piled by the pack.
“Get of me!” He said throwing them all off, he was freakishly strong. “Who are you and why did you take our gifts!” Evelyn said. “Me? I’m the GrOuCh!!..I would go by the grinch.. but that ones taken, stupid copyright..” The grouch said. “He’s a pegomastax, a common thief..” Ron said “but much larger than the average pego.” He continued. “Hey who you callin a common thief! I’m the grouch who stole Christmas!.. or I will be.” The grouch said, “why would you steal Christmas?” Ron asked, “because all I ever get is coal..” the grouch said, “maybe if you didn’t steal stuff you’d get gifts” Ping said, “hmm, you think that would work??” The grouch said. “Well if your not naughty you don’t get coal so..” Richard said. “Oh.. well here’s this back then..” the grouch gave their gifts back then they heard raptor clauses noise again, and a new gift came down for the grouch, he opened it and it was a basket of mejoberries, he then started crying. “Would you like to spend Christmas with us mr grouch?” Ping asked, the grouch sobbed louder and they took it as a yes.
The queen and her guards sulked evermore when raptor clause flew overhead, then he dropped one large gift down to them, the Queen sighed, and told one of her direbear guards to go open the gift which was surely coal, the bear opened the large gift and as expected it was coal, the guard looked at the Queen and nodded, then he heard a rustling from inside the gift and then a large human with horns and fangs and wearing a red coat jumped out of the box, nearly gave the direbear a heart attack then it said in a goat like voice, “you terrorize and extort the good people of this arrk, AND YOU SHALL PAY!” Krampus said.
“Merry Christmas! And a happy new year!” Raptor clause yelled.
Had a dodo named Australia, she was my companion for so long, even while sailing on the seven seas, she was always by my side, until an unfortunate boating incident, my tribemate steered the boat into the border, causing me and Australia to fall into the cold waters, I tried to bring her with me, but a Megalodon got to her before I could.
So one day on mobile we reached the tame limit. We had like, 30-40 dodos. I wanted them to go out with a bang so I took them all and told them to attack a carno lvl 35. They killed it and none died. 🤣 Then they attacked a therinizo lvl 15 and killed it. But only 7 survived. R.I.P. all the Dinos that died and hooray for the Super 7.
-The paw print path-
Chapter three.
They spent the rest of the day hunting. Crimson caught several dodos and some jerboa. Rosie however didn’t really catch much. She either pounced to far or scared the prey off. “ I can’t catch anything.” She complained to her mother. “ it’s OK darling,U just need time to practice.” Amy said encouragingly. Finally the wolf family headed home with their kills. That night they feasted on the meat of all the prey they took the lives of.
Later after dinner Crimson and his family curled up in the sleeping room of there cave. Rosie curled up next to her mother and father. “Mommy?” Asked Rosie. “Hmm?” Amie answered. “Can u sing me a bed song I can’t sleep.” Amy nodded then began. Her voice was sweet and gentle.
“ somewhere over the rainbow way up
high there’s a land that I heard of once
in a lullaby. Somewhere over the
rainbow skies are blue. Someday I’ll
wish upon a star and wake up where
clouds are far behind. Where troubles
melt like lemon drops…”
She continued to sing but Crimson was soon asleep from her beautiful lullaby…
The first time I wrote chapter three I messed up. But here it is. I hope you’re enjoying my book. 😊

Running on dinosaurs: Chapter 2: Echoes in the ferns
………………………………………,…………………………………………..
The days bled into weeks, marked only by the rising and setting sun and the constant, primal scream of the jungle surrounding me. I, Maya, was still alive. Still foraging. Still surviving. My makeshift shelter, carved into the roots of a colossal fern, was my sanctuary, however fragile. I clung to it, to my routine, as anchors in this turbulent sea of prehistoric life.
One sweltering afternoon, while scavenging for edible roots (a risky endeavor, often guarded jealously by small, raptor-like Compsognathus), I heard it. A sound that sliced through the monotonous symphony of the jungle and sent a jolt of adrenaline through my veins.
A scream. Human.
My breath hitched. The sound was ragged, desperate, echoing my own terror from weeks ago. I stayed frozen, roots clutched in my hand, heart hammering against my ribs. Hope, a dangerous and unfamiliar feeling, flickered within me. I wasn't alone.
Cautiously, I crept towards the sound, the familiar weight of my salvaged machete reassuring in my hand. I navigated the tangle of ferns and gargantuan trees, my senses on high alert. Each rustle of leaves, each chirping insect, sent shivers down my spine.
The clearing was small, choked with vegetation, but the scene it held was anything but. A young man, maybe a few years older than me, was pinned against a massive tree trunk, a Deinonychus circling him like a predator toying with its prey. He was covered in mud and blood, his clothes torn, his face a mask of pain and fear. He clutched a broken branch, attempting to fend off the dinosaur’s razor-sharp claws.
My hand tightened on the machete. Logic screamed at me to retreat, to protect myself. But the echo of his desperate cry still rang in my ears.
I charged.
Screaming a wordless battle cry, I swung the machete with all my might. The blade connected with the Deinonychus’s flank, drawing a screech of rage. The dinosaur, momentarily stunned, turned its attention to me, its yellow eyes burning with malice.
The man used the distraction to scramble behind the tree, panting heavily. I braced myself, adrenaline coursing through me. The Deinonychus was fast, agile, and now, thoroughly enraged.
The fight was brutal and short. I managed to land a few more blows, but the dinosaur was relentless. Finally, I saw an opening and plunged the machete deep into its throat. The creature roared, a sound that shook the very ground beneath my feet, then collapsed in a twitching heap.
Silence descended, heavy and thick, broken only by my ragged breathing and the man's choked gasps. I turned towards him, my chest heaving, the machete dripping blood.
He stared at me, his eyes wide with a mixture of shock and… something else. Something that wasn’t gratitude.
"Who are you?" he croaked, his voice raspy.
"Maya," I said, still catching my breath. "Who are you?"
"Reid," he replied, pushing himself to his feet. He was taller than me, broader, with a sharp, calculating gaze. He looked me up and down, his expression unreadable. "Thanks for the help," he added, the tone flat, devoid of any real emotion.
I waited for him to offer more, some sign of camaraderie, of shared experience. But he remained silent, his eyes scanning the jungle, as if assessing escape routes.
"You're welcome," I said, the words feeling hollow. "I have a shelter nearby. It's not much, but it's safe."
Reid finally looked back at me, a flicker of something akin to suspicion in his eyes. "And what do you want in return?"
His words stung. I had risked my life for him. And this was the thanks I got?
"Nothing," I said, my voice hardening. "Just thought maybe we could help each other out. Surviving alone out here is… difficult."
He scoffed. "Difficult? You seem to be managing just fine." He gestured towards the dead Deinonychus. "Besides, I prefer working alone."
His words were a slap in the face, a clear rejection. But they also ignited something within me. A defiance. A realization.
I wasn't alone anymore, but I was still fighting for survival. And now, I had another predator to worry about.
"Fine," I said, turning away. "Good luck."
I started to walk back towards my shelter, the weight of the machete feeling heavier than before. I could feel Reid's eyes on my back, watching, calculating.
As I disappeared into the ferns, I knew one thing: Reid wasn't a savior. He wasn't an ally. He was a threat. And in this land of dinosaurs, the most dangerous creatures weren't always the ones with teeth and claws. Sometimes, they wore the face of a survivor.
