These might seem useless but they’re quite the opposite. Here’s how.

One: eggs

We all know that every Dino on ark and some other creatures lay eggs but the dodo can actually lay eggs quicker than any other. You can use this by these 3 steps,

1: make a 2x2 thatch or wood base. This will keep your dodos safe from any deadly creatures that are a bit hungry.

2: The dodos (obviously). You want about 5 female dodos for your egg laying

3: a male dodo or an oviraptor (optional) the reason you would want one or both of these is because they would boost egg laying speed and with the male dodo to get even more dodos.

Two: raids

I know I know it sounds stupid but it’s actually a bit more grim. First, if you’re high a level enough and you can make C4s, you can WARNING IF YOU HAVE A GREAT LOVE FOR DODOS SKIP TO THE NEXT PARAGRAPH. So, you would strap the C4 on your dodo. Then, you would toss by an enemy base on wander, let it get near and, either when a player sees the C4 or is by the base, KABLAM, you just won a war of raids, from a dodo.

Three: company on single player

Now, picture this, you and your only army just died from a giga and you can’t get your stuff back, you super frustrated because you lost all your 50 tranq darts, 20 excepcional kibble, and a fertilized Rex egg. Then you have your little dodo, right by you, and you start to get cured of your depression, and gain enough confidence to sneakily grab your stuff, and tame a new high level argy. Dodos in ark are great for therapy and company. Now, I hope you see the dodo in a new way.

These things can actually be more powerful than you think, breed them to be big or small, rideable or a shoulder mount, these things if bred well can kill much more than a raptor. It’s add on technology like the dodo decimation bit (it might only be on mobile, I’m not sure), can make a dodo able to destroy all materials up to tek, so all. Make that arrow green, make the ark know how powerful the dodo really is!

These are extremely aggressive and dangerous, and is harder to tame and stronger than any titan. On average, you’ll need a group of 7 with MEK’s and MSCM’s and 5 backup’s in case one of you get hit. It’s near impossible to tame solo, i’ve heard on average it takes 18 hours, without anything going wrong.

You constantly need to direct MSCM’s to the head to deal torpor, and it has to be hit around 40 times. The thing that is unique about this creature is that the higher the torpor, the more aggressive it becomes. It becomes faster, and deals more damage. When its at 50% torpor, it can one shot most Mek’s. Another thing is that it doesnt torpor run. Its torpor drain is much higher than a giga, so missing a single shot could be punishing. Once knocked out, it’ll lose torpor at double the rate, meaning you’ll need thousands of bio-toxin. It eats exclusively element, around 400. Its not even 24 hours, its 6 hours for balancing reasons and it can send alpha tribes from TEK to thatch within at most 30 minutes. There is no real way to kill it without commands or putting it against the alpha king titan.

When one is tamed, it is announced to the entire server that a dodo has been tamed. If you ever get this notification, and you just so happen to be one high ranking tribe, prepare for cataclysm.

Hi. First ever time breeding ANYTHING I need my dodos and got twins. Might've been triplets, not sure. Went away briefly, came back and found two or three DEAD baby dodos. ALWAYS PUT FOOD IN BABY TAME'S INVENTORY. DO NOTAKE MY MISTAKE.

THEY CAN CANTCH SWAMP FEVER, I know bc I tamed like, 20 and then got s.f. but when I passed by them, they caught it too... In the end, I used them for chemical warfare by putting them on wandering and aggressive and I argy dive bomb dropped them into my enemies' base

Easy way for collecting a bunch of meat, hide, keriten, and even so rapid vertebrae! Set a circle of metal spikes on herb island, put a dodo in it and set on wander and agresive. Now, evrything will run towards it cuz dodo can just quack and other things will Argo on it. Now sit back, get popcorn, get Pepsi, and enjoy the show of a dodo causing brontosaurus to die. 🦤
