Dodos are very easy to tame. Just use a wooden club or smack it and give a few berries and he will become tamed.

Dodos are AMAZING tames for beginners for these reasons

1. They die for you ( other beginner tames usually run away)

2. Enough dodos can kill a turtle (carbonemeys)

3. They lay eggs fast (good for simple kibble farms)

4. You can carry them (you can grab them and run away from danger)

5. If you want to breed them you can just trap them in between some small storage boxes. You don’t even have to make walls for them to breed in

6. They are disposable. They are very common and easy to just tame another one if your original dies

7. They poop consistently (good for beginner farms)

8. They are simple (you can give them a lot of berries and they won’t go hungry for a long time)

9. You can tame them by knocking them out with your fists

10. If you level up their health you can grab one and throw it at a dangerous creature as you run away.

These foul nasty creature will be your most terrifying tame yet! While they may look weak and stupid don’t underestimate them a lvl 1 once killed my 236 Rex! Some strategies I have learned in my 3420 hours of ark is to always keep your distance make sure they don’t see you, I recommend a longneck rifle with tranq darts at least 300 of them and 12 extra longnecks. Make sure to pack several metal dinosaur gates for a trap. With all of these things you just might be able to tame one!

Its the hardest pet to tame i would recommend to do all the bosses on all difficultys before taming it so you have a chance i once tamed one and it wanted to attack me so i came with 100 lvl 1000+ t-rexes to distract is it was so close almost all of my rexes died but now i have 1 and i almost have my rexes again so i can tame 2 which would make boss grinding so much easier

Tame 2 dodos and start breed them, after a lot of time you will get a wery strong and big dodo!!! You can use this like a T-rex or a something else

Nah im just kidding, go head and tame a bunch of them to have alot of dodo eggs for kibbles! Or use the egg as food you maniac.

Always tame a female one. It lays eggs very frequently, which can be used to make kibble or a food source. Enjoy your omelets.

Use a club to knock out, clubs make everything easier.

Get a bunch of dodos. I mean it. A whole army. Get them max mutations in health and damage with imprint. Get them all max levels. Make them have thousands of health with a ungodly amount of damage. Fight everyone with the dodo army. Kill everyone. Bring the dodo wrath upon earth.

Dodos can be ridded if they are minimum 2.4 x size in Ark Mobile only

I saw a question, how do you mate them? You enable free roaming, enable mating and put them in a cage do they dont run off. You need at least 1 male and 1 female. Leave them alone for a bit. They have to mate. Once they do you should have a fertilized egg that you will have to keep warm. That should be it

You'd have better luck against a giga or a dragon
