Every critter has a use in a niche strategy. Dodo hordes wreck single target enemies like Raptors or Carnos. Rather skittish in the wild though, maybe they haven't figured out they're surprisingly dangerous?

Tame about 6 of these dodos for a rather efficient dodo egg farm. Of course, tame five females, and one male. Dodo Eggs can be made into dodo kibble! Now you can easily tame that high level pteradon you've wanted for the past 137 hours!

You should probably use a tranq arrow or just your hands as knockout and mejoberries is very good for taming

Dude be carefull they 1 shot gigas they are Ápex predators

Tip if you see a dodo turn run find the biggest clan on your server tell them their is a wild dodo on the loose then stand back and watch them fat REKT

Tame a pack of them and level speed,melee, and hp. Then have them follow a dino on aggressive around your base.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Brunch, Snack, Appetizer

They all taste the same

You should tame these for dodo kibble as it can be used for ichtys,Ptranodons and and Mesopithecuses

Tame one, hopefully high level, name it bait, and jack it's health up a lot. Good for survival.

Give your enemies a dodo bird, if their smart, they should know it's an act of WAR. Put a C4 under it to where it is hidden, and when it's near people, blow it up.

They are a good source of food early in a playthrough. Build a small thatch shack, put one male and as many females as you want and you have a pretty decent supply of raw meat, hide, and exp (From leveling them up and hatching) considering how early you can do it.

For taming, find a level 60+, shoot with bow and tranq. 2 head shots timed 3 secs apart will suffice. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor.

Use a pteradon to put a dodo on a titanoasuar and whistle attack target, in about 2 days attack the Titan with the ptero or carry something else that is on aggressive next to the Titan and then kill it for massive xp

Good for starting to make kibble but otherwise almost useless.

These guys give you dodo kibble.....that's it can't help you get items not can it fight

These guys actually do have some use. If you just scatter them around you're base and have them on neutral, if something does get in your base it'll aggro on the dodos and you'll get a message saying you're dodo died, alerting you of the intruding creature. It'll also trigger anything you have guarding your base, like in my case, my dilos, my trikes, and my raptors.

Just go up to a dodo and punch it with your fists a few times and boom,it's knocked out.
