In a PVP server, if you encounter a base with turrets set to attack players, what you do, is take a tamed dodo, and pick it up. After this start walking up to the base still holding said dodo, since you are behind the dodo, the turrets will not target you, and you will be able to ghost up to the base walks and destroy them however. If you want to tame one all you need to do is punch it.(Clubs help speed up the process) Make sure you bring a bunch of narcoberries and other berries such a mejoberries if you want to tame them! Narcoberries keep the dodo asleep but you have to force feed them to the dodo when the torpor bar starts to get close to zero. Sooner or later your dodo friend will get hungry so you will need to get berries for him. Mejoberries, the purple berries are his favourite but he will eat any of the other types of berries as well. These types of berries you don't have to force feed him, he will eat them over time which will increase the taming bar and once it fills up completely he will be your new best friend!

You can infect dodos with swamp fever by letting a diseased leach bite it. Then you can drop the infected dodo into an enemy base and give all of them swamp fever.

Sometimes dodos can be hit with arrows/darts but it doesn't do anything. To limit this shoot from front.

If your looking at taking tips for a Dodo then you should not even play ARK.

Easy just snipe it with shocking darts a few hundred and the almighty DODO IS TAMED!!!!!!

Get a raptor and it’s a feeding frenzy. Endless supplies of dodo meat. Be warned, the Dodo gods may strike you down for “declaring” war on their species. Make sure you bring your trike to send em flying away.

Dodos aren't meant to be weapons. They are kind creatures. You can keep them as pets. I mean, they're similar to chickens

It’s a great idea for newer players to make a dodo farm and get a carrot farm asap to make dodo kibble. You can use it to get Pteras for flying and exploring and dolphins for underwater exploration

Try and get them to 300 weight.

U might even try and breed for it.

Use a tapajaria to tame and have a friend in the beach knocking them out

You should actually try getting levels on this, my friend had a triple-digit one and he said it took on a raptor and won

If your like me and you are always being chased by other dinos and you tamed a Dodo then throw it at the Dino and hopefully you will live.

Whenever I am sad and I play ark I tame one of these and I know now I am the strongest damn player the world has ever damn seen. They don't even need to be lvl2 and they will one shot a tech base. 🐦🐦🐦

You can use doods to help with big raids. You make a METAL foundation, then you put your foundation in the sight line of turrets, and then put the dodo behind the foundation, and the turrets will try to hit it. Boom, you just got past the turrets!

Who needs to sacrifice an adorable Jerboa in Life's Labrynth when you can just store dodos down there named "noble sacrifice"? Just bring berries for the survivors every time you go down!

Use a club or slingshot if your a beginner. Keep hitting it in the head it it knocks out then feed it berries and narcoberrys to keep it unconscious
