If you encounter this creature in the wild while with a tribe member, just bola the tribe member and run.

Ever hear of the tried and true dodo alarm? No? For this simple yet effective raid alert only requires one dodo (but you can use more). All have to do is set a dodo to aggressive and if anyone attacks a member of your tribe or one of your dinos the dodo will freak out and warn you of the intrusion!

Beware of any signs of a dodo in the area. Their looks may be deceiving, but even one dodo can easily destroy hundereds of hours of playtime. The worst thing is...they usually are found on beaches. Pray that you never see this beast in the wild.

Attach C4 to the dodo then pick it up with an argy and proceed to raid with your own suicide bomber; no more wasted rocket launchers

When trying to tame,Place 6 Metal behemoth gates in a hexagon shape and trap it it there. After you've trapped him in there Tranq him down ;)

Use neutral dodos as easy water protection and friendly shields when thrown on neutral next to a enemy attacking your tribe mates and/or Dino's

Just put it's movement speed to like 500 or a thousand and put it in the ocean on follow while you're with it. Thank me later.

If you see one don't think twice just run or else this creature will kill you in a matter of seconds don't say I didn't warn you

Use riot armour when taming these bustards are mean

In a PVP server, if you encounter a base with turrets set to attack players, what you do, is take a tamed dodo, and pick it up. After this start walking up to the base still holding said dodo, since you are behind the dodo, the turrets will not target you, and you will be able to ghost up to the base walks and destroy them however. Hope you enjoyed this tip!

If you want to tame one all you need to do is punch it.(Clubs help speed up the process) Make sure you bring a bunch of narcoberries and other berries such a mejoberries if you want to tame them! Narcoberries keep the dodo asleep but you have to force feed them to the dodo when the torpor bar starts to get close to zero. Sooner or later your dodo friend will get hungry so you will need to get berries for him. Mejoberries, the purple berries are his favourite but he will eat any of the other types of berries as well. These types of berries you don't have to force feed him, he will eat them over time which will increase the taming bar and once it fills up completely he will be your new best friend!

You can infect dodos with swamp fever by letting a diseased leach bite it. Then you can drop the infected dodo into an enemy base and give all of them swamp fever.

Sometimes dodos can be hit with arrows/darts but it doesn't do anything. To limit this shoot from front.

Dodos aren't meant to be weapons. They are kind creatures. You can keep them as pets. I mean, they're similar to chickens

It’s a great idea for newer players to make a dodo farm and get a carrot farm asap to make dodo kibble. You can use it to get Pteras for flying and exploring and dolphins for underwater exploration
