One of the best faster mounts in the game. Only tame a higher level one as they are quite squishy but tamed with kibble they are beasts that can kill anything. I have a lvl 246 and it shreds everything.

Females are hard to find tame every good one you see

Build a small 2 foundation house with window walls and no roof and use a arge to pick them up drop inside for a easy tame.

If you have even A low level Argy you can pick A high level dire wolf take it back to base have one of your tribe trank it while you hover

and the rest is cake .

Use an arge to safely grab a direwolf, really good for an easy tame without the hassle from the rest of the pack.

The easiest way to tame a Wolfe on the island or Center is via raft built in a U shape, pre built walls to enclose it. Bola it n tranq. Starve in your way home, enclose boat if you'd like extra protection

These are great! They're pretty hard to tame because they usually have friends, and you can't KO all of them, but you don't need a saddle and they're super fast!

Be wary around these creatures, though they spawn alone you'll most usually find them in a pack. Even the toughest tame can succumb to a mate boosted pack if you're not careful enough.

If you're in an area with these guys while on foot I recommend carrying bolas. They'll likely run faster than you so 20 seconds will go a long way. If you happen to have stuff to do so you might be able to tame one in the process, assuming it's alone (which is rare).

I found the snow is the best place to find wolves, But you can find them elsewhere. I think if you make a little 6 by 6 and use window frames as walls you can use an argy or ramp to lead anything you want into the trap and tame it very easily. But that's just me since I don't make very good traps probably don't put a dimetrodon in there cause it will escape and rip your face to shreds

All you need to do is tame one with mutton then you can use an argentavis to take them back to your bass

If you're on PvE, you will be unable to pick up direwolves using an argy. I'm not sure about the Quetz though.

I Have a friend on an argent to carry a dire wolf to me, have a bolas ready when they drop it bolas it. Then start tranqing it!

They are very vicious but quite fast but once they get you that’s it your done unless you out run them and kill it or knock it out and tame it

Took me 8 carno kibble instead of 7 I don’t know if this was a bug for me or what but just wanted to put it out there

Do this before it’s patched, go to ice titan cave, get one of the super high level ones and tame, it’s worth it.
