Taming & KO Tips
How do I tame a diplodocus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a diplodocus.
If passive taming you can stand in a specific spot under the front-middle portion of its belly and it will continuously try to boop you but it won't be able to reach you, allowing you to just stand there until it wants its feedings.
This is how you really Tame one you go up to it if u see it’s hungry feed it the purple berrys get under it first and stay under it still it stop and move and get more berrys till it get 100% must have good body armor for this task!❗️
Easiest way to tame these is to build a 4 by 4 with door frames 2 high all the way around. The diplo will attack the structures and not you this way you can get right underneath his belly. I prefer to use kibble, berries take way too long. Up if you find this useful
The large gap between the first and second feeding for me on a 150 was 15 minutes so be aware that it is a pretty substantial gap.
Taming one is simple: Stay under him behind his front legs so he cant reach and push you out and start feeding him, he will eventually stop moving. While feeding it tell your friends to stay away or it will start moving again.
It will take some time until he asks for food for The second time. After that its easy, just give him The best food you can to make it faster.
If u use soothing balm it makes it go faster to get these also to avoid getting yeeted just go under them the AI will just keep pushing but not push u. Like if helpful! 😉
The wait time between the first berry and the second berry is always the longest. If you stand just underneath it, between it's front legs it can't knock you back, nor will it move.
The taming here is way off. I just tamed a lvl 17 Diplodocus in under 1 hour, using 25-30 Mejoberries, with 99-100% efficiency.
I usually tame them on an uphill incline. They don't push you back very far, and you can always walk back up to them before they push you back again.
They can push you through the map, be carefull when taming.
I tried passive taming a lvl40 on mobile and it only went up by 2% every feed.. takes a long time
First feeding is supper long..... then every 2 mins feed kibble --- then just like that your done
An easy way of taming a one is take it in a safe spot and go against a big Rock to where she or he is always trying to knock u back (makes the tame a bit faster too) and feed mejoberries when it says up if helpful please 😁
"Oh hi there cute diplo- WAIT WHAT R U DOING STAHP I DIDNT MEAN NO HARM"
I was able to get on the tail and ride around on him feeding him as needed just stay crouched. Also it’s a long time between first feed to second feed after that it was normal. Easy pest.
Somebody should’ve said sooner that their little bops don’t hurt. I fed him a mejoberry and he proceeded to come after me hit me one time idk if it hurt all I knew was I ran asap. And that it’s easier to tame them passively by giving them mejo instead of shooting tranq arrows
I've tamed at least like 20 of these guys I started running out of names but the trick is to get under their belly so they try to attack u but can't then u feed them some stimberries so they get hungry then u feed them the food
You can passive tame this and they play with you SO DONT TAME ON CLIFF
You can take it by having a good amount of mejoberries then allign yourself under it to where it stands still and can't knock you back. You can easy kill it too to get a saurpod vertebra I got one that way
Stand in between its front legs and it’ll spam its push but you’ll be out of its attack zone so you can just stand there and non-violently tame it. Easy way to save some narcotics
