Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a diplodocus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a diplodocus.
If passive taming you can stand in a specific spot under the front-middle portion of its belly and it will continuously try to boop you but it won't be able to reach you, allowing you to just stand there until it wants its feedings.
Most playful suckers I have ever met and still too this day. My listro only does tricks. This guy loves to get physical.
They can push you through the map, be carefull when taming.
It's better to just trap these things for getting diplo egg instead of taming.
The nonviolent stuff is better.
It's does not take longer, uses less resources (barely only arrows) and yeah is peacefully
Havent seen anyonle else say it bu theres a spot right next to its neck under its chest where it thinks it playing with you so it stays still and and you can just chill while feeding it
It’s sooo easy to tame. Get berries. Feed and run 100 yards away and wait then feed again. Till tamed, it eats faster when your not near it.
Crops only work if you use the knockout method of taming it.
These are good to kill for xp since they just knock you back
Yo, what is up guys, QWERTY here. Just want to say, it can be knockout tamed, so knockout tame one with lustrous kibble ore mejoberries for a quick tame!
Get a bunch of mejoberies/ kibbles, find one, go right behind its front legs and below its fat belly, afk and occasionally press E
I recommend finding something to do while afk because the process is boringly long
Congrats! You got yourself a cool school bus!
To make the taming process less infuriating in case you don't like flying around, do as follows:
1. Lure it to open terrain
2. Feed it - it will then stand still feeding for a short time
3. Position yourself right left of its front left leg
4. Don't move and enjoy being push around by the leg while it tries to reach you with its head.
5. After the initial feed you wait 5-15 minutes for it to become hungry again. After that this interval is reduced to 1 minute. You can now feed it every 1 minute with mejoberries until tamed
I was exploring the forest when I saw a razor tail whip though the sky. I carefully approached and it did not care for me. If you jump of run or make any sudden movements near it it will start knocking you back with it’s head. Now being nicked back is kind of fun but it will remember you and follow you. You will not take damage from it, to tame you hide under it’s belly and start feeding it any type of berry you can, make sure your other games are not near it when you are taming it!
I've tamed at least like 20 of these guys I started running out of names but the trick is to get under their belly so they try to attack u but can't then u feed them some stimberries so they get hungry then u feed them the food
I recommend trying to get it stuck so that you are underneath its legs and it shouldn’t move or knock you back it will just attack nothing
This is how you really Tame one you go up to it if u see it’s hungry feed it the purple berrys get under it first and stay under it still it stop and move and get more berrys till it get 100% must have good body armor for this task!❗️
These guy so annoying as I try to tame lvl 145 wet up about 0.5 percent per berry. Like to cuddle me and have knockback. Once you tame it useful for carry stuff.
Just stay under a rock so it can’t hit you away and just feed it the berry’s that they tell you to use I used this to tame mine
If you don't have a ghille suit, build one foundation and place 3 walls around you and leave an opening, get it to come at you and run to the box. He will stay there with you forever trying to push you in your box, then just walk forward and check if he needs feeding
I know people say it’s best to passive tame, but I personally KO tamed because I didn’t know. It wasn’t that bad, all you have to do is trap it with 4x4 stone trap, with a ramp. I needed like 60 traq arrows to knock it out.
They are very useful, they can carry I think 10 people at once (not sure about the number, but it’s very big). You do need metal and 800 hide though. People on the chairs not controlling the Dino can shoot things below.
They are fast, have good knock back, and have good health pool. I think its a good mid-game tame.
