What are tips for diplodocus? Tips and strategies for diplodocus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
My iguan and raptor watched me die to this diplodocus
While either feeding it or trying to knock it out to tame it, it is best to go from underneath it, but closer to its neck then his tail so it doesn’t start turning around and just stays in one spot, trying to hit you but continues to miss
Me and a buddy started a new Center, and we’re mid game so I thought I would knock out tame a Diplo. So I go and start shooting it with a cross bow and Tranqs and my crossbow breaks, so my buddy covers me while I get my second one. After a little while the thing still hasn’t gone down and my SECOND crossbow breaks, so I grab a normal bow and chase the Diplo. Of course the bow breaks and I run out of tranqs, so I decide to go full Chuck Norris and throw some punches. 20 minutes later and I’ve got Fist The Diplo.
Crops are used for knock out tame
When taming it, if you ride a Direwolf or something fast, it will chase you and will take less time to tame.
If looking to passive tame stand just behind the front legs it will make the animation to push you back but wont actually push you back
I tamed mine with berries and it took forever!! When taking run to give it a berry then run. They take better if there not violent
My tamed Diplodocus seems to reject mejoberries and instead eat azulberries. I haven’t tried wild gaming a diplo with azulberries but I would recommend trying! Hope this helps. Also where do I find plant species Y? I can find x in swamp but I can’t find Y. In mountain bushes???
Patience is key
You Will wait a LOT
Just know that they do no damage, mostly good killing to harvesting meat
Knock it out and tame it too
Just watch the torpor
Can be used as a soak. Runs very fast has a crap ton of health and can probably be used to broadside shoot rockets off it's back while soaking turrets. This is assuming you get a health roll and level only health. You should see yourself at at least 37k health when fully leveled.
I am currently taming a level 1 diplo. Can someone please answer me why it is pushing me while I dlfeed it. I am non-violent feeding it.
The only good thing about these is the weight and nock back
Easy kill just stand under it and hack away with a sword or any melee weapon and then get yourself some meat.
