How to easily tame diplodocus in 5 simple steps:

1. Locate diplodocus

2. Prepare a lot of berries (it prefers azulberry or mejoberry)

3. Walk up to it and stand beneath it so it cant push you away

4. Feed it until its tamed

5. You have tamed diplodocus! It can be preety usefull for taming big carnivores like rex or spino

I got an idea if the tamed diplodocus can attack.So it is like an upgrade for the saddle (that might make it cost more) that adds sharp spikes on its head so when it pushes enemies not only the get knockback they will also get hurt which means we can level up the attack of the diplo.Thats just my idea and yes I think the do deserve a tail whip attack cause they really need a defence in the wild man....

Diplo's are super tanky. Everyone doesnt realize this is now the BEST bullet tank in the game. When heath is low, sprint out with no problem. Unlike the bronto, the Diplo is very fast. While passive taming, realize that first feeding you have about 15 minutes until next feeding. Then all quick after that.

Awesome for taming because it is a passive tame, and it is very good for taming other Dinosaurs because it can push back the Dino without damaging it

Yo, when did they make it so diplo can harvest berries? It is so much more useful and such an easy tame for both berries and early game travel now.

No, it doesn't need a platform saddle. No, it doesn't need to be able to do damage. It has plenty of uses without these, being able to move lots of resources quickly, clear bases of wild dinos without aggroing them, and being among the best for draining turrets, being able to run by them and soak any that hit. If you want a platform saddle and tail whip. Get a bronto.

When passive taming, it declines Savoroot and rockcarrots.

Today I learned they push you when there's hostile dinosaurs around. Either there trying to give you to the aggressive creatures or there trying to help you.

Did you guys know that this beautiful dino is the ONLY dino you can passive tame AND knock out tame? It's pretty cool :)

Very annoying when they come upon your nicely organized dinos and start throwing them.

I will say these are a bit obnoxious in passive taming but as stated the belly is easiest hide out untill tamed. Kibble is best for shorter tame. I'm glad it ignores littler creatures underfoot otherwise my Pippin lthenLysosairus and Mosichops would be dead. The fallow gap is wide. Anyone notice the dance each time you level them? I called my girl Tremor for a reason 😂 Seriously get the smithy and go to work right away on saddle even after taming. Resource harvesting is easier with them as they're large and can carry much more

If you find this guy on a mountain get ready to get knocked out of the orbit.

For anyone that wants to passive tame it here is an area under it where he will play the push animation but it wont actually push you this leaves you only with the annoying rawring to deal with for more than 10 mins

Good tanks for raids! Use as a frontline attack in front of Brontos or Gigas etc, can push tames back when attacking so you can use this for defence too. Their high speed allows you to run from turrets when on low health. Worth it when passive tamed as the low kib needed means you can tame more.

If Ark actualy did research, diplodocus can tail whip other carnivores and the speed of its tail whip is said by scientists that it could of been so fast it could break the sound barrier
