As they don’t land often I find it easiest to eat rare flowers which agros them. Then all you have to do is walk backwards and either bola them as they fly straight at you or just tranq them straight out of the air

To the guy who told us how to knock out a dimorph,DONTISTEN TO HIM use a tranq arrow to the dimorph,all u need is one,punching it till unconscious attracts ALL the dimorph near u,but if u just simply tranq it,then dont even know a friend was tranqed,and tamed :3

If can try tame one or tame many “optional” have these murder machines, and if a random Dino attacks or if it’s a raid just whistle and make sure there on neutral then, watch the chaos.ahh those days.

Make sure you have a spear ready when taming, I got killed by its pack members. And then they killed it when it tamed

Get a few tranq arrows, and snipe it while it's in the air and aim for the head and fire once or twice. Then feed it 2 meat and narcotics if you need to do other things. But I used my fists so it was unconscious.

These guys are literally one of the best early game tames. They don't have much health, but they do a lot of damage for a creature their size. It's also hard for baddies to get to them cuz they're small and they fly. All you have to do is find one crawling, (it's really hard to get one that's flying) and bola it, next knock it out with a club, then give it some meat and wait. You might need some narcoberries cause they don't stay unconscious for long.

Grab a tribe mate, bola it then knock it out and make sure to have your tribe mate watch your back, feed it meet and watch its torpor, now that you have one upgrade melee damage and health, and know you have an unstoppable killing machine.

I once tried to tame a lvl 300 allo but when I got back with bio toxin there were 100s of dimorphs that attacked it and killed it.

When taming you don’t want to tame the ones in a group.They are pretty easy tames if you don’t attack em in packs one tranc to the head and it’s out.It is neutral meaning it will only attack if you attack it.After you take a pack of these guys they can wine out slot of things.

Torpor runs out stupidly fast. It’s small and annoying. Make sure no other ones are around or else ☠️. Dont face it with 1 Dino if there are 25. My friends quetzal died to 50 or these. Don’t take one in the swamp. There are many in the swamp. Feed it meat normal meat or fish.

Honestly not that hard to tame. Started a new game (LV 7) and used the normal method (bola, slingshot to the head). I only had cooked meat on me and I force fed it some narcos. These are amazing killing machines and are hard to kill. Make sure to wait until they land before using a bola.

You need a bola, any type of meat, clib, narcoberrys or narcotics, and it has to be alone or it will kill you

Make sure you find one that is by itself (as everyone else is saying)! Bola it, knock it out, and throw about 20 raw meat and 5 narcotics in its inventory (just to be on the safe side). I used a bola and, surprisingly, a SLINGSHOT, to knock my first LV 17 Dimo out, and I used 3 narcotics to keep it under. (I ran out, so I had to sprint back to base and grab more, all while freaking out that I wouldn't make it back in time 😂) But it went up to LV 21 when it had finished taming, so that was a plus.

Be carefull when taming the abberant variant, spawning around the middle of the map, red zone. They are kinda hard to spot and well, red zone.

They Also spawn on Val. in the unknown.

And If you want to bring one to radiation( ASE valguero unknown / Drake nests on fjordur If transferred) but couldn't care less abt the abb. variant, the normal one, according to wiki.gg is also Rad. Immune.

To tame you need 1 bola and narcotics and meat use bola then fist it start using the meat and if unconscious use narcotics then he’s tamed
