I Spent ages farming with my Pteranodon but the one of these guys where sitting their so innocently so I hit it then all a sudden I see 15 or more of these dims and they killed my Pteranodon and I lost my loot ) :

There like dilos when tamming but not in groups then there like therys

So I have a strike team with 5 of these things, from levels 7 to 27, a Baryonyx, a Tickle Chicken, a Kaprosuchus, and a Sarco. We take down level 30+ Diplodocus and Brontos in moments, and shred Rexes with ease.

Dimorphodons aren’t just good swarm Dinos for PVP but can be used as “Damage Amplification”.What I mean by that is that when you are take for example fighting off a raptor or carno with a sword your Dimorph will attack when you attack, amplifying the swords damage from 90 to 110, depending on your Dimorph’s melee damage.

I was wandering around gathering stone with my pteranodon and saw a pack of dimorphodons and thought why not, so I killed three and there was one left my pteranodon was fighting and they were spinning in circles going up and up and up and I thought I was going to lose my pteranodon but I managed to snipe it with a scoped rifle.

I definitely reccomend these as an air force. Barely anything can touch them and when they are in a group they demolish their enemies in seconds!

If you’re fighting it with an argy, land and wait for it to come close. When it does, hit the attack button and boom! Dead dimo!

Whatever you do, don’t target one of these with a rex... there will be more that arise out of no where. I learned that the hard way. R.I.P. Rexy 😭 💀

Earlier tonight on my Island single-player game, I watched a wild Rex get completely wrecked by three of these things. All three flew away from the Rex’s body completely unharmed.

I’m kinda scared now...

I'm on pve the island,and iam very tempted to just tame like, 50 of these things and go into the artifact caves,and then probobly kill them all cuz I have no further use for them lol

How to tame a dimorphodon if you have tranquilizer darts

1: get a long neck rifle and some meat (20-40)

2: find a good level dimorphodon

3: stay a far distance away form it

4: tranq it and go feed it meat

Then done you have your very own dimorphodon

Dimorphs are helpful you can find them all over the map and I have 4 two males and two females I’ve yet to breed but when I first him mine a group of 3 sarcos no joke a single lvl 5 dimorph killed all 3. 10000 and 10% recommend they are a godsend.

a lot of people say taming these are hard. not really i tamed 10 with no problem at level 30. the main tips are you MUST bola it and knock it out n that’s it :). if it has friends bola them too.

These things are like flying otters, in the way that they can fit on your shoulder... Small hit box+ High damage= Must tame

Just got one and named it killer and decided to try it out on a few dilos and the 3 dilos got SHREDDED to pieces! DEFINITELY TAME ONE!

Do Not hit them with your low level tames like what I did whit my lvl 27 argy it will get messy real quick rip F$ck face

These things are crazy i hit one on accident and it kept spinning all my pets tried to kill it ay iguana parasaur pachy phiomaia i tried to kill it but i Couldn't it killed me and i lost my hardcore world

Started my hardcore series and tamed a high level raptor and decided to go out to kill some dinosaurs for hide. Ran into this guy and said why not and just after I killed the first one immediately got jumped by 6 of them forgetting they can kill you through your mount ending my series at an absolute catastrophic failure. Lesson learned.

Tame these guys and tell them to attack your target (assist) and put them on your shoulder and you will have yourself a battle aid.
