Basically a walking air conditioner that can bite things.

Weird how these don’t auto aggro and when you hit them they don’t aggro they just run away

1 do not have any tames when taming including: sarco, or any thing else other than dimetodon.

2 prime raw not normal raw. Raw is a waste of time but still good taming material.

kibble was worth .9% of taming progress on a lvl 60 dimetrodon on an official prim+ xbox server, let people know before they waste their time!!

Weigh them down, put them on wander and your eggs will be hatched! Also upgrade melee damage for better insulation.

On primitive + : use a few narco traps in a corridor and then arrows. Their torpor drops fast and their health is low. One of the hardest tame on P+. Be ready to kill a few.

Great substitute for an air conditioner, would recommend.

The higher the melee the better the insulation,

First i use slingshot club and wooden fountain fence to a wild male dimetrodon whin he's unconscious feed him some raw meat and soothing balm and huzzah i name him gordon to the base

Is this better incubate than otter? Up if yes.

Can’t pick them up with an Arge in Mobile :(

As mentioned below, in Mobile you cannot pick up the Dimetrodon with an Argi. You’ll need a Quetzel, or maayyybbbbbeee a Tapajara, idk yet I am still working on it.

Can be used as ac and a heater which means they can incubate pretty much any egg if you have enough of them, essential if you plan to breed on primitive.

Last time I tried taming one of these guys a couple of them ganged up on me and tried biting me to shreds

WHY? I thought they were PASSIVE!?

They have really fast decreasing torpor and not alone of health however I almost lost 2 rock drake eggs but I tamed a dimetrodon and it helped me loads

Dodo said 600 narcotics and 1.5 hours to tame. Took 1hour 45min and 1150 narcotics. Thanks dodo, glad I always carry extra for just in case.

Hey people have you ever thought it was a waist of materials makeing torches or air vent things to hatch an egg well you don’t need to anymore because if you put some of these next to an egg it will start incubating so no more useing up you materials just tame a few of these and they will get the job done. If you want to tame high level AC, Mutton or Kibble are pretty much needed, following tons of Bio Toxin, it worth the AC purchase cost if you find one with high melee start anyway...

Get at least 2 or 3 tamed and just lvl up melee everytime they lvl up (higher melee = better tempreature control)

Make sure they are on passive

And you now can hatch pretty much every egg

If you get yourself one or two of these, and put every point into melee, they can hatch any egg and you won't even have to bother making a bunch of air cons. They are kind of a pain to tame, but you should be fine using prime and some narcotics.
