Dilophosaurs are easy early-game tames: bola one, knock it unconscious, and feed it raw meat while using narcotics if needed. Their venomous spit can slow and blind enemies, making them useful for protection, hunting, and base defense, especially in packs, though they are fragile alone. When encountering one, listen for its aggro call, evade its spit by moving sideways or jumping, and fight from a distance or with a shield; groups are more dangerous.
